Hierdie is een van daardie herinneringe wat ek koester, flashback to 2022.
Ek wou vir jare so graag Worthy Women bywoon, nie net kry ek die geleentheid om dit by te woon nie, maar ek kon die video maak.
Wat 'n ongelooflike ervaring!
My hart was seer dat ek 2023 se WWC gemis het, maar vir 'n groter seën - my seuntjie se geboorte.
Ek is darem nie van plan om die jaar weer swanger te wees nie 😄, so ek gaan definitief die jaar bywoon!

I am not completely sure if it was my pregnancy hormones at the time, but I teared up multiple times during this wedding. It was a small and intimate wedding with so much detail and heartfelt moments - SO MANY special moments!

I met Janie as a little girl, her sister and I were friends in high school. Both sisters married their high school sweethearts <3
Rikus almost had me in tears when I saw his reaction to seeing Janie walk down the aisle.

End last year I received a call from a teacher at LS Anton van Wouw. She briefly explained what they had in mind for their school production and asked if I am available and willing to film it.
I remember thinking that this was much bigger than me, but I was so excited and honored that they chose me to be part of this amazing journey.
There were times that I doubted my capability, but working with these amazing teachers and sharing ideas lead to an amazing chapter in my life. This was not just another school concert, this was a start of something extraordinary. Thank you so much for trusting and believing in me to capture this prestigious event.
I saw the tired eyes behind the scenes, the joy and pride each teacher felt when they saw their "kids" up there, giving it their all. I saw the happy tears that were wiped away at the back of the crowd.
As a parent, I want to say thank you to each and every one of you for loving our kids like your own. It is a privilege to part of such an amazing community...x

What a memorable, stunning wedding! Shortly after the ceremony it started to drizzle. We drove up and down the venue trying to dodge the rain, seeking a glimpse of the sunset for that breath taking sunset photo/video. In a matter of 1 hour we had footage of of wind, rain and lastly a 10min window of a beautiful sunset. That is what I call a blessing right out of God's hands.
