We had another great weekend at LVE Events..

Chef Matt cooked for a lovely local family, a whole lamb cooked over the fire pit! As well as BBQ'ing some burgers, hot dogs and made a range of lovely salads.

Our on the day wedding coordinator went to a fabulous wedding, working with the couples plans, timelines and suppliers to make sure the day ran as smoothly and amazingly as it did.

We also provided staff to help out for a great man's 60th birthday party, we heated and plated a gorgeous buffet, served drinks, helped decorate, and kept their home clean and tidy!

What a fun weekend last weekend was..

*We supplied staff for an awesome medieval banquet helping with food and drinks service and bar service in the evening.

*We also supplied staff for a very lovely lady's surprise 60th birthday party, helping with the buffets, serving drinks on a bar, and general helping the day run well.

*And our partner, Matt from The BBQ Bandit supplied awesome BBQ catering for another lovely lady's birthday party.

In the past month we've provided over 30 staff members to assist with weddings and private parties..

We've run bars, handed out canapes, provided drinks receptions, served buffets and sit down meals, did a whole lot of cleaning to make sure the venues stay in tip top shape, and helped ensure lots of people had great days and less stress because we were there to do the busy work.. in the coming month we'll be providing over 50 staff to do the same!

It's been a busy week for us here at LVE Events..

We've had the pleasure of catering a sit down three course meal for two small weddings, providing buffets for 2 weddings, 2 wakes and a business lunch and provided 2 staff members for a corporate event every day last week.

First event of the year last weekend..

We cooked and served, a lovely three course meal for a beautiful couples wedding..

Starter was butternut and parsnip soup with parsnip crisps and home baked bread.

Mains we did roast beef, with roasted carrots and parsnips, roast potatoes and French beans.

And dessert was a triple chocolate brownie with clotted cream ice cream.

It was a pleasure to cook and serve for this lovely wedding.. if you are looking for catering for your upcoming wedding or other event, don't hesitate to get in touch! 😊

We're looking forward to a busy Christmas time..

We do still have availability during December for catering, so thought we would share our festive buffet menus with you.

We've had a SUPER busy October! And been been so lax on the socials.. so here's an update of our October..
We've catered for weddings every Saturday in October.. plus a couple of Fridays, and supplied staff to private events this weekend.
We've had a lot of fun! And are super grateful to all of our lovely customers, and amazing staff, for a really great month!
We've got a bit of welcome quiet time now before the Christmas time, but if you have an event and need catering or staff, hit us up, we'll do our best to help. 😀

We've done lots of canapés, sit down 3 course meals, buffets, BBQ, Pizzas, and of course provided our amazing staff to serve 😀

Another great event tonight.. Will post more pics tomorrow, but had a go at a little video to show our baking of 100 home made bread rolls for our mini cheeseburger canapes!

They went down a storm, as did all the food! Had many many compliments..
just doing what we love!

We will be "out of office" this week, on a much needed family holiday, so will respond to any messages upon our return next Monday.

Another busy week at LVE Events..

We have supplied sandwich platters for a small local gathering.
We've supplied canapes for a wedding, mini Cheeseburger sliders, rare roast beef and horseradish mini yorkies and mango chicken skewers.
We catered for a wonderful gothic style wedding by supplying a buffet of cold meats, sandwiches, pastries, salads and more as well as desserts for a dessert table. And then supplied 50 take away style fish and chips for the evening do!
And we also sent a couple of members of staff to help out with the bar and food service at a lovely outdoor wedding.

Another great couple of weeks at LVE Events..

Last Saturday we catered for a lovely couples wedding, 50 guests for a sit down 3 course meal, with BBQ for evening food..

Then Saturday just gone we had the pleasure of providing bar, waiting staff & on the day coordinator for a wedding in Brill, Aylesbury, working alongside the great caterers Sizzle Grills ..

And also Saturday just gone sending waiting staff to work alongside our good friends and amazing Spanish caterers Las Tapitas at Manor Farm Barn.

Another successful menu tasting this evening for a wonderful couple we are catering for in October for their wedding.

To start:

Smoked roasted duck breast, roasted beetroot, sweet butternut puree, crispy kale leaves and a port reduction.

Tomato, Onion and basil brushetta with torn burrata and reduced balsamic on Basil toasted ciabatta.

For Mains:

Chicken breast stuffed with Cornish brie, spinach and cranberries, wrapped in crispy bacon, sautéed French beans and asparagus and roasted Jersey Royals with a cranberry and port reduction.

Hearty root vegetable stew, with a Puff pastry top and sautéed jersey royals.

To Finish:

Classic crème brulee with shortbread biscuits

Chocolate brownie with Salted caramel ice cream.

Did you know, if you book us to cater your wedding, we will come to you for a menu tasting with dishes of your choice so you can make an informed decision of menu choice, and have a little extra evening of yummy food and a chance to meet the chef! All included in the price of your catering!

Great couple of events this weekend!

On Friday we supplied an on the day wedding coordinator and staff members to help with reception drinks, food service and general running of the day for a beautiful couple at the amazing Park Farm Weddings venue. It was an really lovely day and our pleasure to help everything run smoothly!

And on Saturday we helped out at a garden party by providing a couple of members of staff to help keep everything clean and tidy throughout the evening and generally being a couple of extra pairs of hands so the hosts and guest could really enjoy themselves!

And then also during the week we did a special little afternoon tea for a local family at their home.

Another busy weekend of events! 😀

A BBQ for 100 people, for a big building company trade day! A smaller private BBQ at a regular customers home.. and provided bar staff for an awesome garden party!

Today we did a menu tasting for a wonderful couples upcoming wedding.

Starters were:
Teriyaki pork belly on a Cucumber and spring onion salad.
&
Prawns in a rich tomato and chilli sauce with basil ciabatta.

Mains were:
Rolled chicken breast stuffed with spinach, cornish brie and cranberries served with roasted potatoes & butternut squash and a pepper butternut squash puree.
&
Medium rare beef Wellington, with parmesan topped dauphinoise, creamed spinach and a red wine sauce.

Desserts were:
Triple Chocolate cheesecake with candied orange and vanilla bean ice cream
&
Apple and pear crumble with Salted caramel sauce and creme anglaise.

The couple were so happy with the dishes, and even said it was the best crumble they'd ever had! 😊 We look forward to catering for you and your guests in October!

And we catered another great BBQ for 75 guests on Saturday.. the weather's not being very BBQ friendly, but it's held out for us most BBQ events we've done so far! So if you'd like us for your BBQ, we'll come rain or shine! 😊

A great event this past weekend.. catering and staff for an ABBA "Mamma Mia" event..
The space was turned into a Greek Taverna, and we cooked and served a lovely three course Greek inspired meal!

The food went down a storm and we had alot of fun with this one!

Some great events again this week!

Today we supplied staff for a gorgeous wedding, for a gorgeous couple! We were super lucky with the weather, and we had such a lovely time helping with drinks and canapé reception, some food prep, bar service and helped to keep everything clean and tidy so they don't have too much to do in the morning!

Yesterday we served a hot buffet for a corporate event, with some yummy mini sliders, mac & cheese, chicken, creamy garlic mushrooms and more.. plus a nice cold accompanying buffet with sandwiches, side of salmon and grazing boards.

And on Thursday we did another simple corporate buffet for staff to grab while doing team building activities.

Another great weekend of events this week..
Thursday we did a corporate buffet for 40 people..
Saturday we catered a BBQ for customers, friends and family of BMW Milton Keynes..
We also supplied staff for a wedding at Slapton Manor with the amazing caterers Las Tapitas also on Saturday..
Then on Sunday we supplied staff for a family BBQ of F1 royalty!
Super weekend, and a busy week ahead!

Another great weekend of events, a lovely wedding in Milton Keynes, and an engagement party in Leighton Buzzard!

A lovely BBQ we catered for on Saturday.. 50 people for some delicious homemade burgers, local sausages, various flavoured chicken skewers and a whole heap of yummy side dishes!

It was the perfect weather for a lovely outdoor event, and we had a lot of fun catering this one!

If you've got a BBQ coming up, why not take out the stress of burning those hot dogs, and undercooking the chicken, and let us cater for you instead. We'll even bring the BBQ too!

We just wanted to pop on and say it was such a pleasure to work at Acorn Barn on Saturday, based in Stadhampton, Oxfordshire such a beautiful DIY venue! We will be with you again soon I'm sure! 😊
