What a deeply touching first gathering we just had with our Inner Circle last Monday evening. Since then, I also have been receiving more questions on how to join ícaro's Inner Circle.

Well, first of all, here are the exact dates of our online gatherings in the upcoming year: 22nd January, 22nd February, 21st March, 22nd April, 22nd May, 20th June, 22nd July, 22nd August, 23rd September, 21st October, 21st November & 23rd December 2024 (from 19h30 until 21h CET time).

In these online gatherings, we co-create spaces for sharings and inquiries. Plus: we dive deeper within during a Poetry in Motion session - a musical weaving of silence, poetry and dance. So even if you cannot join us online, then you can listen back to these recordings afterwards, at any time - and let yourself be heard in our Telegram group.

Dear ones,

While feeling pretty sick these past few days, I have noticed that words don't come so easily. But luckily my creativity is more alive than ever before... Looking around and letting both beauty and terror enter me, my inner muse keeps reminding me of what lies underneath it all:

"The era of breaking
Taking
Shaking

Has officially
Ended"

May we keep envisioning the beauty of what is possible - may we never forget who we are and where we come from...

More than ever, it feels of huuuuge importance to come together and co-create spaces of transformation. So healing can take place, and so we can make an end to this endless cycle of suffering and separation.

This weekend, together with dear sister and magical songstress Carrie Tree, we are inviting you to join us for a workshop of 'Gateways into Voice and Movement' and/or for a very intimate concert.

After just landing back from a beautiful Heart of the Dance Camp, I am feeling myself move from deep heartbreak to rising in hope and love - and all the layers in between…

During the INBODIMENT // Summer Celebration of last week, my husband Josse Horsten and I shared our common passion for embodiment and singing with the tribe in a circle ceremony called INCANTATION.

Josse and are excited to be holding another circle - and before, you can dive into a ROOTS dance and a cacao ceremony.

And this on Sunday afternoon 20th August 2023 in the beautiful dance garden of Soulpath vzw!

Since many years, I have been passionate about weaving poetry into my Ecstatic DJ sets. 'Break Me' is one of my most favorite poems - as she cracks me wide open, every time she shares her mysterious wisdom...

She came to me after a deep dark night of the soul. Reminding me to trust life. To give heart. And to give spirit.

INTO THE EARTH

“And what if, beyond all the pain,
the bitter and the sweet,
We can lay our head down
And find solace in this moment?

It has been shown to me so often:
My grief carries my happiness
My anger supports my kindness
And I can see the wonders laying underneath my wounds.”

Last week, after our arrival back in Europe, I had the honor to play at stunning venues for three very special dances: Mariakapel Coudewater during RISE UP SISTER I Celebration of the Feminine, Ursulakapel (Roermond) during Ecstatic Dance Limburg and Landgoed Ottermeer during Ecstatic Dance Gathering. Sacred power places can bring out raw and real parts within us - those parts that simply ask to be listened to from every vessel of our being, and thus: to be re-membered.

You belong, we belong.
To the earth. 🌍
