Please welcome actress ASHLEY GREENE to the Houston Horror Film Fest - (August 9th - 11th, 2024) event!

Ashley widely known for her portrayal of “Alice Cullen” in the popular 2008 Twilight Saga franchise and for his role as “Evelyn” in the cult favorite Burying The Ex.

Early in her career, she appeared as a guest on such television programs, as Punk'd and Crossing Jordan. Greene's big break came in 2008, when she was cast as Alice Cullen in The Twilight Saga series of films, based on the novel series of the same name by Stephenie Meyer. The series consists of the films Twilight, The Twilight Saga: New Moon, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1, and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2, which were respectively released in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012.

Greene portrayed Michelle Burkham in the drama film Skateland, which premiered at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival.

She reunited with her Twilight co-star Kellan Lutz in the movie A Warrior's Heart (2011),and also starred in thriller film Summer's Blood (2009) and the Dark Castle Entertainment horror film The Apparition (2012).

In 2013, Greene starred in the historical film CBGB about the former Manhattan music club with the same name.

Please welcome actor DEVON SAWA to the Houston Horror Film Fest - (August 9th - 11th, 2024) event!

Devon made his film debut in Little Giants in 1994 and received wide recognition for playing the title role as a human boy in Casper the following year. In Now and Then, Sawa played the town bully, Scott Wormer. He also appeared in the films Wild America, Idle Hands, and Final Destination.

In 2000, Sawa played the title character of the Eminem music video "Stan".He later did voice acting, voicing Flash Thompson in Spider-Man: The New Animated Series. Sawa continued to work steadily in the 2000s by appearing in several independent films, including Extreme Dating, Shooting Gallery, Devil's Den, Creature Of Darkness, Endure, 388 Arletta Avenue, The Philly Kid, and A Resurrection.

In 2010, Sawa portrayed Owen Elliott on The CW action drama series Nikita. In July 2012, he was promoted to series regular in the third season of Nikita; the show ended after four seasons in 2013.

In 2016, Sawa played the lead role in Punk's Dead, a sequel to SLC Punk! by the same director. In 2017, he portrayed the role of Nico Jackson in Somewhere Between; the show ended after one season. In 2019, Sawa appeared as Lester Clark Jr. in Escape Plan: The Extractors. He also starred in the thriller The Fanatic, where he played Hunter Dunbar, an actor who is stalked by a character named Moose. The movie was directed by Limp Bizkit vocalist Fred Durst. Sawa later starred in the films Hunter Hunter(2020) and Black Friday (2021).

You can now catch Devon as a recurring character in Don Mancini’s tv series CHUCKY.

Please welcome actor JACKSON RATHBONE to the Houston Horror Film Fest - (August 9th - 11th, 2024) event!

Jackson widely known for his portrayal of “Jasper Hale” in the popular 2008 Twilight Saga franchise and for his role as “Jeremy Frame” in the cult favorite Donnie Darko sequel S.Darko.

In 2008, he played Jasper Hale in the film Twilight, based on the best-selling novel by Stephenie Meyer. He reprised his role in the sequels to Twilight, The Twilight Saga: New Moon, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 and Part 2. In 2009, Rathbone played Jeremy in S. Darko.

In addition to that role, he won kudos for his performance as a serial killer on Criminal Minds. Rathbone played the role of Sokka in The Last Airbender, a 2010 film based on the animated series
Rathbone formerly performed in a funk band called 100 Monkeys with two friends whom he met in high school at Interlochen Arts Academy.

Please welcome legendary scream queen HEATHER LANGENKAMP to the Houston Horror Film Fest - (August 9th - 11th, 2024) event!

Heather is widely known for her portrayal of Nancy Thompson in the beloved fan favorite A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET franchise.

She got her start in acting when she was cast as an extra in the Francis Ford Coppola films The Outsiders (1983) and Rumble Fish (1983), which were both filmed in Tulsa. Her scenes were deleted from the final cut of both films. While studying at Stanford University, she rose to international prominence when Wes Craven cast her as Nancy Thompson in A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984). After a string of television guest appearances, she returned as Nancy in the 1987 sequel A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors (1987). Subsequently, she became known for her role as the moralistic Marie Lubbock on the ABC television series Just the Ten of Us (1987), a spin-off of the popular ABC situation comedy Growing Pains (1985) (on which she guest-starred), from 1988 to 1990. In 1994, she portrayed fictionalized versions of herself in New Nightmare (1994) and the figure skater Nancy Kerriganin Tonya & Nancy: The Inside Story (1994). The following year, she had a supporting role as the reporter Christy Carruthers in the horror film The Demolitionist (1995). She served as executive producer and narrator for the documentary Never Sleep Again: The Elm Street Legacy (2010), followed by roles in The Butterfly Room (2012), Star Trek Into Darkness (2013), and Truth or Dare (2017). She has since starred in a variety of independent films. She co-owns AFX Studio, a company responsible for the special effects for films such as Dawn of the Dead (2004) and The Cabin in the Woods (2011).

Please welcome actor JOHN KASSIR to the Houston Horror Film Fest - (August 9th - 11th, 2024) event!

John is widely known for his work as the beloved “CRYPT KEEPER" in the hit T.V. Series TALES FROM THE CRYPT!

Kassir has specialized in voice-over work for animation, video games, and other productions, most notably as the voice of Crypt Keeper in Tales from the Crypt. He would later voice Ray "Raymundo" Rocket in Rocket Power. He also provided the voice for the mercenary Deadpoolin the video games X-Men Legends II: Rise of Apocalypse, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, and Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2, as well as for Sauronand Pyro, two other well-known characters. He was also featured in the very first commercial for the Nintendo cornerstone video game series The Legend of Zelda in the United States in 1987.

Kassir provided the vocal effects of the mischievous raccoon Meeko in Disney's 1995 animated feature Pocahontas and Pocahontas II: Journey to a New World. Also, he provided the voice of Buster Bunny in four Tiny Toon Adventures episodes (following Charlie Adler's departure from the role). He played the villainous Scuttlebutt in An American Tail: The Treasure of Manhattan Island. He also made one voice appearance in an episode of Ben 10, (Last Laugh) as Zombozo. He voiced the character Adam MacIntyre and provided Additional voice over work in the video game Dead Rising. His voice is featured in the games Shadows of the Damned and Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance as Hell demons and Desperado Enforcement captain Monsoon, respectively.
