as we hurtle towards the end of another difficult year full of world f**kery and closer to home a dance music industry thing seemingly still suffering the fall out from lockdown, wild mismanagement, shifting economics and the changing shape of modern punters we all start to take stock of things.

I’m still happily being handled by the The Pool but am coming to terms with how I should ‘market’ myself be it through hopefully word of mouth and people saying good things about what I do or contacting people directly to book me (which is sort of socially a bit naff I know, but sometimes a necessity) because I like the sound of their party and think I would fit right in.. as usual though there’s a distinct division around what maybe people perceive I do. Right!! Saturday week! That’s the 28th of September I’m warming the room for international stallion and cult leader DJ Harvey at the ace KOKO Electronic it’s his only night in Blighty this year! Tickets are nearly gone already so move fast! Get there early for 2hrs or speaker flexing, atmosphere building and dancefloor overtures from me then harvey will take you all by the hand personally and lead you into the 5hr dance ritual! get the dog looked after, packed a change of top and get dancing.. mondays show is up on the SoundCloud i had zero idea on the heading and it tuned out really krauty and gnarly but also sort of super stoned and discoey at the same time.. with tracks from utter faves, aegean deep explorers, the return of the extended family, druggy africans, japanese acid genius, european funks, austrian electronics and bands that know the score.. less frantic shoehorning in of stuff therefore less tracks.. i sort of quiet riot if you will!! give it a listen but only if you are operating heavy machinery 🙂
