We had the honor of being sponsors for the 2023 Wedding Vendor Choice Awards Gala! It was such a beautiful event, thank you fellow sponsors for all your hard work! Max and Shilan first met in New York City but were currently living in Kansas City when planning their wedding. When we spoke with them, they mentioned that Kansas City was merely a transition point to their next endeavors but we soon agreed throughout our discussion that Kansas City would be part of their lives forever. It will be the place where they will get married, where they start their lives together as husband and wife. So we wanted a way to integrate Kansas City in the film to remind them where it all began for them as husband and wife.
HeartFeltVisual is composed of a husband and wife videography team. Joe and Melissa focus on creating intentional, hand-crafted wedding films that stay true to our couples and their wedding day. Our wedding videography team is based in Missouri, and available worldwide.

What a wedding this wasâŠ..Kyle and Heather wanted a fun, modern, luxurious wedding and they delivered. What really stood out about them and their wedding day was just how grounded these two are. Their relationship felt so genuine and sincere, it really made for a beautiful wedding day.
When we were thinking about their story, we wanted to keep the vibe they were going for (modern lux with a lot of partying) but still keep the integrity of their story, which at the core of it was how they treated each other. It wasnât just romantic, but sweet and sincere.

Story time: we were filming sunset rooftop portraits of Jackson and Kate when we saw another bride and groom taking their portraits on the rooftop right next to us. I started filming BTS of everybody and swiveled my camera to the other bride and groom. Iâm so glad I did! I was able to capture this genuinely supportive moment from the other bride and groom.
Itâs positive moments like these that make us love people and grateful that we get to be part of each otherâs special day.
Sparkler exitâŠin sweat pants!
Just look at their faces! Jackson and Kate were so excited to change into cozy clothes for their sparkler exit. This trend is so much fun and we love filming it.
We love a good first look with Dad. And the this moment between Lauren and her father was extra precious!
How do you feel about father daughter first looks?
The FUTURE is now lol. Crazy how powerful AI is and really becoming a useful tool. This fixes your audio incredibly fast and is pretty clean and accurate if I say so myself.
Not being paid or anything for this, itâs just a new program Iâve run into thatâs been VERY useful for me called Enhanced Speech by Adobe. Itâs in Beta so itâs freeâŠ..for now.
Throughout the years we have had the privilege to see some of the absolute BEST first looks. Many of these groom reactions were so emotional that they either cried or they will make you cry.
There is something really beautiful about just viewing these raw emotional moments, of filming these grooms seeing their bride for the first time in their wedding dress. They aren't scripted, but rather they are genuine, authentic moments taking place in front of the camera.

Honestly, filming this was just so fun. We all ran and hid from the groom for Kate the bride to do her quick hair cut. Her groom, Jackson, was so surprised - even saying he couldnât believe how fast she was sneaking away! Her haircut was a big hit and loved by her groom and all of the guests.

Are you excited for your first look?!!
So is everyone else! We catch a lot of bridal party and family members peeping to catch a glimpse of the first look. Although we want to respect the wishes of the couple on their wedding day, getting to see the shared joy of everyone is a sweet moment we treasure while filming the wedding day.
âWhatâs your first dance song?â
This is a question we often ask couples. Sometimes the song has a special meaning for their relationship, their story, or maybe itâs just something they both like. Understanding this helps us with our selection of music throughout the films. We view music a complement to the narrative we try to tell for our coupleâs wedding video.
The Cliffs of Moher are just incredible. We arrived right before sunset and it was cloudy, so a lot of the crowd were leaving but to our surprise the sky cleared up and we got to enjoy a beautiful a sunset by the cliffs.
Our hearts were bursting while we filmed their sweet and Steven and Jacindaâs special proposal.
Steven secretly flew in from California to KC to surprise Jacinda! She was so excited and said yes! Their families were there to celebrate with them afterward in this happy day.
Proposal videos donât seem to be very common but we think they should totally become a thing! What do you think? Do you like proposal videos? Let us know in the comments!
