Good morning! I still have two PT sessions left. One today and one on Thursday.
We will pop in at 10 but then need to leave@for PT at 11. We should be back by 12:30 and we’ll be there until at least 4 ( to make up for my need to go to PT)
Thursday is my last appointment and that is in the afternoon so a little easier 🙂

We took a little ride this morning to check out after I’ve been following them since before my surgery. All I can say is 20/10! The biscuits are amazing and should definitely go on your list if you’re looking for something a little different. We may have brought too many home but I’m not going to judge us 😂

Hi everyone! I know it’s been a hot minute since you’ve heard from me but everything went really, really well with my knee replacement. I’ve had about 6 weeks to get used to this bionic body part and I’m ready to come back.
It’s going to take us a couple days to get some housekeeping done so we are looking forward to opening back up next Monday August 12 at 10 am. We’ve had some new items arrive this past week and we can’t wait to share them with you!

Our hours for this week will be Monday thru Friday 10-2.
It’s going to be super hot this coming week which is not so friendly for flowers and it’s the week before my surgery so we adjusted a little bit. I need to be careful about not cutting myself and getting an infection prior to surgery.

Thank you to .vibrations and his beautiful wife for stopping in to say hello today. If Devin looks familiar he’s a personality on for and a true plant lover. So needless to say I’ve seen him countless times and he may have convinced me to buy a few plants too. 🪴

Being proactive with this. Looks like we will probably be down again tomorrow with our phones and internet (which in turn affects our credit card processing in the shop) We will be there 10-3 but if you can’t reach us this is why. Not very helpful at the beginning of Mothers Day week but at least it’s at the beginning and not the end.

Here’s the info I promised you the other day about Prom. PASD prom is April 26 and Spring-Ford prom is April 27 (those are the two I know of) Because of this I need to make sure I give customers from both districts the attention they deserve. I will be cutting off prom orders for that weekend by Saturday April 20th. Please note that I could cut off orders earlier if necessary.

For as much as I’ve tried the past few years to not raise prices I have to this year. For those who have ordered from us you know how much attention I give to these orders to ensure no two bouquets look the same and that takes a lot of time and thought.

Pricing for Prom 2024:
Designers Choice to coordinate with the dress -$60 (I pick flowers)

Custom Orders-$75 and up (being told specific flowers or being sent photos to recreate in my own way)

Boutonnières- $25 this is for a white rose with an easy pin back and ribbon wrapped either in a coordinating color to the dress or black.

Custom Boutonnières-$30 (being told the color)

Thank you so much to everyone who’s been checking in to see how I’m doing. Total knee replacement surgery has been officially scheduled for June 26th. This was done very intentionally so that I am still able to be here for the spring season and use summer to heal.

This means for prom and Mother’s Day there will be order cut off dates and order quantity limits. I’ll be posting more info on prom next week with Mother’s Day info to follow shortly thereafter.

Oh hey! It’s been a minute since I’ve posted anything about actual flowers so here we go. The beauties you see here are all on their way to the shop for Valentines Day. I wanted to find some flowers to make Valentines more fun, especially since the trends are going away from the standard dozen red roses and leaning more towards fun, colorful long lasting arrangements.
The green rose is called Veggie and the carnations pictured (although they don’t even look like carnations are Minami carnations in light pink and a light orange /pink. These carnations have a Japanese heritage and seriously don’t even look like carnations.
These flower examples are one reason it’s so important to shop with your local professional florist and not with someone who’s just promoting flowers because it’s Valentine’s Day. Many think they can take advantage of the holiday but if you want a great bouquet or arrangement made with love and experience give us a call. We know what to suggest, how to process blooms when they arrive at the shop and design for the longest vase life possible. Shopping with a real florist is the only way to go.

Oh hey good morning! We made the decision to close the shop today due to that white stuff falling from the sky. Can’t speak to the roads at the moment because I’m in my jammies having coffee but we know it’s better if we’re not out and about so the plows can do their job. I’ll be here working on my Valentines order and updating the website. We’ll be back in tomorrow. Stay safe.
