A_K Trancecore creates epic, extensive reworks of mainly 80s and 90s pop and dance music. The likes of Kate Bush, Cyndi Lauper, N-Trance and Sinéad O'Connor are turned into dynamic rave tracks that lean heavily on happy hardcore and trance, with interventions of bass, gabber, nightcore and hyperpop. Releases have appeared on Nightcore 4 Total S***s, Donkline and Remix Everything. Last up for tonight’s clash with we have these local heavy weights! Akua and Chaos Tactix have been running loops of the rave scene for the last 10 years and if you’ve been out in Brighton you know what to expect by now! Joining them we have former Brighton resident Gwyn Selecta. Gwynn mixes have been making moves gaining him notable bookings with Scotland Yard sound system and rumble in the jungle to name a few. When he’s not in the club you’ll find him in a field not one to be missed!

Akua first started his musical journey in the Brighton and the South East underground rave scene as part of the mighty Fraktal Sound System and it didn’t take long for this young talent to start making moves in the club and festival circuit. He is a part of some of the South East’s biggest nights including Basskonnection, Erisian and Cabarave to name a few, Akua is now focusing on his own production and brand AfterShock that he runs with a close friend. ⭐️THE DJ PRODUCER ⭐️

Enforced by strength, high-powered kick drums & precise mixing, turntable perfection is undeniable. Luke McMillan, a.k.a “The DJ Producer” has been a name synonymous with the U.K. underground rave/hardcore scene for the last two decades. His passion for high powered, super precise, rapid beat mixing, stems from his early passions of electro and hip hop.

Luke got his first turntables in 1988, and by the time he started Strode college in 1989 he was already starting to realize that the music was changing, and being a skinny white kid from Shepton mallet, he wasn’t exactly going to be the worlds greatest hip hop DJ! By 1992 Luke was resident for the famous “Universe” organization, playing the sped up, rave infused, breakbeat bangers of the time. Fast forward to September 1992 , The Producer performed his first public techno orientated set at Universe’s massive “Mind, Body, Soul & The Universe” rave and as they say the rest is history… The DJ producer never looked back but never forgot his Breakbeat roots which are more than apparent in his sound today.

Since these days of hedonism, Luke’s career has gone from strength to musical strength, and as the music evolved, Luke really began to carve his name into the UK rave scene as one of the first mainstream ‘hardcore techno’ dj’s in the UK. From 1994-1997/1998 Luke became a permanent fixture in the techno rooms at the UKs biggest raves like Helter Skelter, Dreamscape, Vibealite, Club Kinetic, Rezerection and Revelation while his music became one of the key ingredients in the growth of world famous legandery Deathchant Records label and in fact “UK Hardcore Techno” sound.

DJ, MC, Radio presenter, Producer and Musician are some of the role’s which Sharkey is not only accomplished at, but a master of. UK legend is another name which Jon could boast if he wasn’t so god damn modest!

Sharkey is of course a household name when it comes to Harcore/Harddance/Rave. His name is synonymous with the famous Bonkers compilation, were he A&R’d and mixed his own disc on 15 outings of the UK’s best-selling and most famous hardcore compilation series of all time.

Like Sharkey’s multifaceted skill set, his musical range when Djing is as dynamic, ever evolving and always at the forefront of the underground. Sharkey sets can be diverse or focused encompassing Breakbeat, Hardtrance, Oldskool Happy Hardcore, Freeform and Hardcore Techno.

On the MIC hosting Sharkey gravitates to The harder or trance orientated sides of the rave spectrum (Hardstyle, Hardtrance, Hardcore Techno or multigenre sets ).

No matter which role or music faceat Sharkey is booked for you can expect a high octane, exciting performance which will make a lasting impression on ravers.
