Carmen now serves full-time as a wedding officiant and funeral celebrant in Simcoe County and Muskoka Carmen Novosky (Agius) serves as an Ontario Licensed wedding Officiant and Funeral Celebrant in the Simcoe County and Muskoka areas of Central Ontario. Carmen became a Wedding Officiant in order to Officiate at her youngest son's wedding - at the request of the Bride and Groom! Since that date in

2011 she has Officiated at well over 300 weddings! She is able to integrate various family members from children to Grandparents in the ceremony and is experienced at dealing with issues related to divorce and re-marriage of parents. A compassionate and kind wedding Officiant Rev. Carmen will enhance your love and joy at your wedding ceremony :)

Did you know that 40% of proposals and engagements happen between the end of November and the beginning of February?!

1. Celebrate and share the great news with family and Friends.

2. Set a budget - this will allow you to keep in mind what you want to spend. Don’t be afraid to adjust the budget if you start to see pricing is different then expected when looking for vendors.

3. Create a guest List - Use this list as a guide. List A is people you absolutely can't get married without. List B is people you would absolutely love to have at your wedding if budget and venue size allow

4. Venue - This will most likely be overwhelming for the beginning stages of the wedding planning because it dictates so many other factors in your planning. It give you a wedding date (yay!), a vibe or feel for your wedding (formal, quirky, comfortable etc), and give you a huge portion of your anticipated budget

5. Vendor researching and hiring - you will find that some of the highly recommended vendors book up up to one to two years in advanced. I highly suggest you book your DJ, Photographer and officiant as one of your first vendors.
