This and next week at Trivia Knights we will be running without categories since so many venues will be closed or not running events on Dec. 24/25th and Dec. 31/Jan. 1st. Please check with your local venue’s schedule to see if they are open. That said, for this week I can confirm the only place running Trivia Knights events are:

Thursday Dec. 26th - 7-9pm -

Our annual Christmas/holiday Trivia games are this week at all venues!

We've got the 1983 classic adaptation of A Christmas Carol pictured with this post for your Disney Movie of the Week! (DON'T PANIC IT'S JUST A CHRISTMAS CAROL WITH DISNEY CHARACTERS IN IT)
Our crowd suggested category is Christmas episodes of TV shows!
Everything else is holiday related!

It’s Friday afternoon and now that I’ve laid out all of our Season 6 themes and dates in advance (see pinned post from Nov. 28) I actually can post topics this early instead of last minute for a change! 😅

Hope you had a great Thanksgiving holiday weekend!

This week at Trivia Knights we will be doing something I'm not quite sure we've ever done in the past! We'll be doing both a Soft Finale of our Season 5 Theme (Numbers Of The Week) with this set going from 180-225 while we simultaneously do the Premiere of our Season 6 Theme (Disney Movie Of The Week)! With much of the country hitting their lowest temperatures of the season and/or blanketed in snow up north, we'll start with a wintery hit to open up the holiday month... 2013's smash hit, Frozen!

Today I'd not only like to say Happy Thanksgiving, but Early Merry Christmas! In an unprecedented move, we have planned out all the titles and dates for Season 6: Disney Movie Of The Week and are giving you the FULL LINEUP in advance! It's longer than I had initially thought because you all voted to include Pixar movies as well!

I thought it would be a cool idea to make it like a tour dates poster and I also made it so you can also flip through the photos to see versions in larger print with less dates at once!

We'll still have another rotating category pulled from crowd suggestions, but it's so nice to actually have something figured out in advance (Trivia has often been planned the week or day of at times!!)

Hope you are looking forward to it as much as we are! With this much notice you've got plenty of time to catch up on the ones you aren't familiar with (and for what it's worth you can get a year worth of Disney+ for $3/mo. as a Black Friday deal!)!

Thanksgiving is nearly upon us! On weeks like this where a holiday interrupts the normal schedule and we have extra out-of-towners joining in, I like to lean off the categories a bit. So this week, we'll be doing a little more speed running through Season 5's Numbers of the Week with 126-179! It's more or less just another round of random questions like Round 1 and 5. Which is to say... it's more or less all random next week and I'll likely have some Thanksgiving stuff mixed in! No events anywhere on Thursday this week!

The Station has a different game entirely! They'll be doing Thanksgiving trivia, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and a speed round before taking a break for a few weeks before their Christmas-themed Season Finale on Dec. 12th!

No Name That Tune at Old Nick's Pub Arcadia this Thursday due to them having their Friendsgiving party that day! Subsequently ACTUAL Thanksgiving is next Thursday so we'll be back there the first Thursday in December for No Theme (1st) Thursday!

Today's the day! I'll be starting around 6:30pm tonight and going until 6:30pm tomorrow (Sunday)! Feel free to tune in and please consider donating to help sick kids! Many employers match donation amounts and donations are tax-deductible!

We also will be doing a Trivia Game you can play for prizes in as part of the stream, starting at 8:30pm, followed by a few hours of Jackbox Games, including the new one that just released a couple of weeks ago!! I bought it specifically for this stream and I'm excited to try it out!

Oh yeah, , so I also am running a separate in-person Trivia Event for Charity (different than my 24-Hour Charity Fundraising Event For Duke Children's Hospital! Nov. 9th Starting at 6:30pm!) this Saturday afternoon, November 9th, in Greensboro at Steel Hands Brewing - Greensboro from 2-4pm!! I was hired to do this by the charity and was not aware that it was open to the public to play until very recently (I thought it was a private fundraiser)!

Again to reiterate - there are TWO separate Trivia shows tomorrow for TWO DIFFERENT charities! The in-person one at Steel Hands (which I'm working but is not *my* fundraiser) and the online one on YouTube/Twitch for Extra-Life.org which is *my* fundraiser for Duke Children's Hospital and starts at 8:30pm!

If you're free, want some extra Trivia Knights in your life and don't mind making the trek to Greensboro, I'll be there live and in person!

Big announcements incoming!

Before I get to categories for the week, I have not only a special reminder that my Charity Fundraiser for Duke Children's Hospital is Saturday Nov. 9th starting around 6:30pm and going 24 hours into the evening of Sunday Nov. 10th, but ALSO!!!

We are bringing back an online Trivia event on Saturday at 8:30pm as part of the charity stream!!! (you guys voted on the time for that via an Instagram flash poll)
It will be a game of random trivia just like we do in person, but with no category rounds, and you can tune in and play online (and hopefully donate to the cause!) that evening just like the games we ran during the pandemic! Feel free to play with a team even if they're scattered in more than one house! Details for that will be at the very bottom of this post as well as featured in a subsequent post and event page!!

With that out of the way, Trivia Topics for this week!!

Trick or Treat? 🎃

The *Treat* is that we're doing a sneak preview of the Season 6 Theme, Disney Movie Of The Week, at Trivia Knights this week! Not one, but TWO Spooky Season themed Disney films that a couple crowds voted on are on the table, shown in the picture for this post! Everything else will be Halloween/Horror related this week and we encourage you and your friends and family to come in costume!!
The *Trick* is that it's just a sneak preview so we'll still finish out Season 5's Numbers Of The Week and switch back to Disney very soon! Skipping News Round this week in favor of Speed Round since news isn't typically Halloween/Horror themed!
