5. JOHN SNOW, SOHO: The John Snow pub is that it is named after Dr. John Snow, a physician who played a crucial role in identifying the source of a cholera outbreak in London in 1854. He traced the outbreak to contaminated water from a public pump on Broad Street (now Broadwick Street), near the location of the pub. By removing the pump handle and advocating for improved sanitation practices, Snow helped establish the link between contaminated water and the spread of disease.

We kicked off our first ever BIG FAT QUIZ LEAGUE over the summer and had a brilliant response.

All you had to do was submit your score via a photo with one of our quizmasters and you would be entered onto the league table.

This was a London-wide league table across 30+ venues and we now have a winner!

All The Beer No Idea from in Clapham wracked up 247 points to take the crown as inaugural winners.
