History repeats for the Babag National High School Rondalla, or also known as the Lapu-Lapu City Community Rondalla as they successfully defended their throne today, December 13, 2025 at Robinsons Galleria during the GSP Handog sa Pasko 2025.
From their first victory to this latest triumph, theyโve proven that greatness isnโt just a one-time thingโitโs a habit forged in countless hours of practice, teamwork, and pure passion when it comes to music. When they took the stage this time around, they are all ready to set the stage ablaze. Their performance left the audience and judges alike in absolute awe.
This is not just a typical win. Itโs a living proof of their hardwork, dedication, commitment, and their unwavering love for music.
First and foremost, we thank our Almighty God for guiding us every step of the way through this journey.
To our Conductor, Sir William Consejo (Will Cons), thank you for nurturing our skills with patience and wisdom. We are nothing without your guidance and teaching; youโve shaped us into the musicians we are today. Also, to our Coordinator, Sir Windel Dihayco, thank you for your never ending support even with your hectic schedule. We truly appreciate your effort.
Of course, we wouldnโt have made it this far without the generosity of those around us. A heartfelt thank you to Kap Eulogio Caesar Manayon of Barangay Babag, Babag National High School PTA, Sir Manolito L. Alce from Babag NHS-SHS, maโam Gloremey Esmoso and maโam Cheryll Marangga from Canjulao Elementary School for helping us with this journey.
