As this year wraps up I reflect back on all the incredible weddings we got to be a part of. A huge thank you to each of our bride’s for trusting us with your vision and allowing us the opportunity of bringing it to life. It was a pleasure!

There may have been wind, rain, thunder, and lightening while we set up for this incredible wedding on August 19th! But this moment in the midst of it all had me almost in tears! The bride and her entourage arrived and I got to show them some of the flowers! Let me just tell ya, this bride had the biggest hype crew! They were all so sweet and made me feel super excited about everything we created for the couple on their special day!
Noah and Maddy, congratulations! What an honor to have played a part in your wedding day this past weekend! It was a dream. 🤍 May the days ahead be filled with joy and grace. May you always cheer each other on and carry with you the memories of your wedding day. May each year bring you to a deeper knowledge of one another and in turn a deeper love.

My name is Leah and I have was introduced to the world of wedding flowers when my oldest sister got married in 2012 and the florist was a family friend. I got a taste of what designing flowers was like and since then imagined it being a part of my life. After meeting my husband in college out of state we moved back to Idaho in 2017 and really moved forward with pursuing this business. We created Spera Floral and have seen it grow to a part time adventure to a full time business for both Josh and I. We are so very grateful for all of the people along the way that have invested in Spera Floral and trusted us with providing such a special element to their wedding or event. As life changes and God directs us in new ways, we are excited to see how this business will grow and change. 🤍
✨The Bridal Bouquet ✨
I love sitting down with a new bride and hearing all about what she envisions for her bouquet! It can really set the tone for the rest of the floral elements in her wedding and gives me a glimpse into who she is. 🤍
This bridal bouquet was SO fun!
We went to a marriage session at our church last night and I was reminded of the importance of intentionally connecting with your spouse. It comes naturally when you’re dating and getting to know one another, but as the years pass you have to be a little more intentional. The word that stuck with me was ~cultivate~. Cultivate your marriage. Just like we cultivate a garden, we can metaphorically do the same in our marriages; water, feed, w**d, and watch as time goes by, the flowers bloom, and the trees bear fruit. 💕
So grateful for some time to be together and unplug this past week! We got out in the mountains and did some hiking, enjoyed good food, spent time with Jesus, and drank lots of coffee. ☕️ 🌄
Back to it this week with two amazing weddings! ✨
We are out of the office! ✨ After a big couple months full of lots of designing (and everything else that goes on behind the scenes) we are taking some time off! I’ll be off social media for a few days as we soak up some family time. Hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July!

We are in the thick of all that goes into bringing our 2022 season to life! I write up all my flower recipes and work toward a smooth week to week balance. It’s a little weird being in this phase where I’m sitting in front a screen most days because soon comes a time of long days on my feet and being surrounded by beautiful flowers! Can’t wait! 😊
A huge congratulations to Jordan and Sarah!! What a privilege it was to be your wedding florist! It was so much fun working with your color palette and I loved how everything came together! The rustic, romantic, country, boho elements all came through and it was beautiful! Jordan’s cowboy hat and Sarah’s lacy sleeves were a favorite.

I’ve been so grateful for this time off - definitely feeling refreshed already and anticipating some wonderful times with family over the holidays.
But I’ve got to say, as I have met with different brides recently and talked over styles, designs, and ideas, I’m already feeling the excitement of creativity! It makes me look forward to those wedding days of seeing it all come together. Next year is going to be a lot of fun! ❤️
As we are taking some much needed time to recharge and catch up on rest and relationships, I have not stopped thinking about the blessing of this past wedding season. I am amazed by the wonderful people that I got to meet and loved seeing so many beautiful couples commit their lives to each other. Marriage is pretty awesome 💕 Here’s to the first year together for all of my 2021 couples! 🥂May it be full of fond memories, new traditions, and continuous intentionality in growing deeper in love.

It was a big weekend for us last week, but what an honor to share in these beautiful celebrations of two people committing their lives to one another.
