Apparently the folks at OSF missed ol’ CJ so much, they had to put him back in the hospital for another operation. All went well, and hopefully this won’t delay my return much longer.

Ahoy there. Some of y’all may already have heard, but I had a bad reaction during surgery, and I ended up on a ventilator for five days. I finally got home from the hospital last Monday, but it will still be a few more weeks before I’m back. On the bright side, that’s twice the Reaper has come for me, and twice I’ve beat his punk ass.

It’s my last Sparrow Entertainment karaoke show (for a while, anyway) tonight at Lunker's, as I’m having some fairly major surgery on my back next week. So come out and say “see you later, alligator” or “after while, crocodile,” and sing your favorite tunes while you’re there—I’ll start getting anesthetized at 8:30, and the karaoke gets under way at 9:30. Come rock out with your croc out!

FYI tonight kids…

Today, NPD will be taking part in Saturation Saturday. Officers will be focusing on ridding the streets of Normal of impaired drivers to ensure safe travels for all.

Normal PD prides itself on its dedication to keep our community safe. In 2022, NPD officers were able to remove over 200 impaired drivers from the streets.

We guarantee, a ride in the back of an Uber is much more comfortable than in the back of a cop car.
