Halloween is just around the corner? You all looking forward to another year with us at The Schenley Haunt? Come stop and see us! We will start at 5pm at trick or treat and run as long as we can till probably around 9pm! I loved seeing so many people stop thru last year and it made all the effort so worth it! Let's have fun again this year!

Lets make a change.. I've started a petition to have Youngstown and surrounding suburbs/townships change Trick or Treating to the last Saturday of October every year so it no longer falls on a week night for school or work. Pass it around. We will send it to the Mayor of Youngstown to show them we want an enjoyable change for all.

As September is starting to roll in to an end it is almost that time of year our favorite time of year. Looking for people who are able to come help us! We have a few animated props that are needed to be looked at to see if repairs can be done. Unfortunately somebody hit one and kicked another and they are not functioning properly. So if good with repairs reach out. Also will be in need of people who are off halloween day and night that would be able to help set up and tear down. Also, of you want to haunt and watch props that would be wonderful too! Remember we do not profit from this we did take donations and this year we are thinking of doing it for second harvest food bank and asking for people to bring non perishables. I feel that we put so much love into the haunt that it should benefit by us giving back to our community and less fortunate. We do this for our love of Halloween and nothing more. So if you have anything you want to contribute even if it is time it will be appreciated! Will keep you informed on times and things we are working on starting next weekend. Until then have a spooktacular September!
