Feel like New Year, New Me doesn’t hit quite right anymore?

In playing off of our post earlier this week about goals, let’s talk resolutions!!!

But maybe we call them “intentions” instead. Resolutions can feel rigid and stressful. Intentions? They’re flexible, forgiving, and all about building a version of you that feels GOOD.

Here’s how I’m setting intentions for 2025:

✨ Focus on habits, not perfection. (One missed day doesn’t mean it’s over.)
✨ Celebrate tiny wins. Every step counts, no matter how small.
✨ Keep things fun. I’m rewarding myself for progress because, well, why not?

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

Christmas looked a little different for me this year. No cats in my Christmas photo, and if you’ve been around for a while, you know that they’ve been joining me in every Christmas photo since I got them! Unfortunately, I couldn’t bring them to Australia, so they had to sit this one out.

And this year, I spent the full day in bed with food poisoning. Thankfully I took these photos on Christmas Eve, before the elaborate fish dinner that I apparently didn’t cook long enough.

Even though I spent the day alone, I had plenty of company and love sent to me from back home. ❤️

Three lessons I’ve learned while travelling abroad:

1. You’re never truly travelling alone. There’s always someone who’s also on a journey, someone to talk to, someone to adventure with and to learn from.

2. Try not to have expectations. Doing so leaves room for your own experience without comparing through the lens of someone else’s instagram post.

3. Leave room for struggle. Even if you don’t see it, almost every adventure comes with challenges. Allow them to soak in and help you grow.
