Spent my Memorial Day with friends and family and finished it off with completing a new mask sculpt. This is my take of an imaginary friend, made to resemble something human, but not yet there. This is FrƎnd.

From all of us at Malevolent Designs, we would like to thank everyone that came by the booth, complimented our work, took some home with them, placed an order, took the time to chat with us and shared their enthusiasm about creating things themselves, for their character, or even asking how to get started. You guys were all awesome and we appreciate everyone we chatted with and everyone that came to the show to make this weekend an amazing one! To all our old friends that we had the pleasure of seeing again, we’ve missed you and it was so awesome seeing you guys again. And to all the new friends we’ve made this past weekend, we look forward to seeing you all again and having another awesome show next year! You guys are awesome!!!

Finally had a chance to throw some paint on my new clown mask, Abandoned Laughter. I wanted an old, weathered and forgotten statue look. I still have to add a few more things to this guy before I call it complete.

Something to know about me, I’m always cooking up new ideas for something to create. Decided to finally play around with Nomad sculpt on my iPad and being a novice to it, sculpted out this tiny dead/mummified fairy. Not too bad for my first full sculpt on that program lol. Took 4 different revisions until they finally printed this small. My plan for these guys is to create miniature domes housing these tiny guys as if they’re specimens. I still have to paint them and add the moss and everything else to their little environments. Planning to have a few with me this weekend at Monster Mania Con. Come on out and check out the wares in Oaks!

The first cast and paint up of Homicidal Harris. Catch him at the World Oddities Expo this coming Saturday. Harris is the first of a new line called Maniac Mascots. Charlie Cheddar will be the next one up.
