*** Give Me Time ***

There just never seems to be enough time.

Most of my days are spent with my hands in multiple dyes.

Today I have worked or Sage, Terracotta and a last minute olive green order. Yesterday was predominantly blues.

No two days are the same in the world of hand dyeing.

It's always great to get sent some images of couples weddings and how they have used our products at their wedding.

The clocks have gone forward and the sun sets at 8pm this evening.

It was family day today after dyeing and sending out another 700 metres. We blew away the cobwebs today and did a 2 hour walk.

These are our new muslin centrepiece squares that can be used to decorate the middle of your round tables. Our “Fabric Puddle” that we have called them are perfect to fit in the middle of the round banquet tables. You can have them flat to the table or scrunched up to create texture.

Colour Close Up 👀

It's so hard to choose a colour when there is so much to chose from.

I wanted to create this post so you see the differences in these colours and make it a little easier to pick your favourite

Cinnamon - more golden and on the yellow side

Terracotta - think burnt orange and is more muted in its tome

Rust - this is a brighter orange colour and heading towards a slightly red tone.

Cinder Rose - not as bright as all the other colours and has a pink tone running through it.

How it all began...

Having worked and taught in the fashion industry for 15 years, I wanted to use my creativity in the bridal industry. So in June of 2019 Mae Dae was born.

I have used my skills and experience and built up a really good solid wedding styling and planning business. From hiring out beautiful flowers walls to making handmade bespoke props to style indoor and outdoor spaces as well as creating unique and beautiful floral creations for events, parties and weddings.

Mae Dae Weddings and Events overall aim is to bring a relaxed, personal and bespoke experience to their customers - making sure we bring you something meaningful and authentic whilst keeping your personal style in mind.
