WOW! A&A Disc Jockey Services blew us out of the water!!! If we could give them more than 5 stars, we would! From planning to the actual event, the team was there for us every step of the way! Larry and April took time to really understand our vision in planning meetings before our wedding. Marcus was our DJ and I couldn't write enough things about him! He made our reception feel personal by talking about our love story and making sure the party kept going all night!!

We can't thank Stephanie and Jacob, the new Mr. & Mrs. for their kind comments. They were both such a joy to work with during the planning for their event. When I stopped by to check on them I finally had to approach Stephanie on the dance floor to say hi, because it was obvious she wasn't sitting down much, and Marcus said he thinks he had nearly as much fun as they did.
Of course, successful events don't happen in a vacuum. Summer Wells of Events by Summer Joy was terrific to work with as always; Cadillac Service Garage is a terrific venue and the staff there always make our job easier; I was told that the food from 1618 on location as well as the cake from Easy Peasy Decadent Desserts were both delicious and I am anxious to see the amazing photos and video from Point200 Films & Photos. We are always proud to work with and be associated to other great professionals.
April and I wish Stephanie and Jacob every happiness in their future lives together and look forward to a great party on their 20th anniversary. :)

Wow! What a business. I am so pleased even 7 months after my wedding. When I think back on the night of our wedding, the music was amazing and kept the party going. From the endless questions and many personalization touches, Larry and DJ Marcus exceeded our expectations. This is truly a business who stands by their word. Mr Martin was in constant contact with me and took the time to really get to know our preferences as bride and groom. DJ Marcus came highly recommended from a family friend and he also exceeded every expectation. DJ Marcus made it a point to introduce his self to me, the bride, while my bridesmaids and I were taking pictures. Although I had many people helping pull the day together, he assured me if I needed anything that he and Mr. Martin would help in any way they could. Please consider using this small business as they are well run and I did not have to worry at all because the communication and delivery were top tier. I would recommend this DJ business over and over again. Thank you Mr. Martin and DJ Marcus for giving us our dream wedding! Sincerely- Alex and Mikayla Conner

We can't thank Mikayla & Alex enough for the kind words. It is so gratifying that so many months after their event when all the excitement has finally settled down, they still recognize and appreciate the efforts we made for their day. We are constantly reminding ourselves that although we may do many weddings, for each of our couples, this is their "once in a lifetime" event, so we make their dreams our highest priority. But a successful event is always a team effort. The Hideaway at Crooked Creek is a terrific venue with a great staff. Michelle with A Touch of Charm was so helpful and Michaela Cox Photography was s pure pleasure to work with. We treasure the relationships we build with our couples and will always wish Mikayla & Alex nothing but love and happiness in the years ahead.

Marcus was the absolute best! The flow from beginning to end was better than we ever imagined. Marcus was very kind to us and our guests and knew how to keep the party going. We are very thankful for the A&A team and how they truly made this such a memorable day for us.

Alli and Peter were such a great couple to work with and the staff at the Barn at Reyolda Village are always a delight to team with as was their director (Events by Vivian). The couple did a terrific job of filling out our planning materials so that we had a really goo picture of what their vision of a terrific wedding day looked like and hopefully we were able to create that for them. Marcus, April and I really loved what they did for their guests and wish them every happiness in their future lives together. :)

We loved Craig for our reception. He did an amazing job setting up between two rooms. We were able to enjoy a nice relaxing dinner, and have a good time on the dance floor. He also did a great job as the Master of Ceremony, keeping the night moving smoothly. Music was great, interactions with my family were wondering. Larry who I worked with prior to the night is super nice, very invested into making sure the night goes as planned.

We want to thank Mia and Dan for the very kind words. Working with them to help turn their vision of a perfect wedding day into a reality was a real joy. We wish them every happiness in their future lives together. :)

Something we should all do for our friends. Why I love the Bruno Mars song “Count on Me.” :)

"Piglet?" said Pooh.
"Yes?" said Piglet.
"I'm scared," said Pooh.
For a moment, there was silence.

"Would you like to talk about it?" asked Piglet, when Pooh didn't appear to be saying anything further.

"I'm just so scared," blurted out Pooh.

"So anxious. Because I don't feel like things are getting any better. If anything, I feel like they might be getting worse. People are angry, because they're so scared, and they're turning on one another, and there seems to be no clear plan out of here, and I worry about my friends and the people I love, and I wish SO much that I could give them all a hug, and oh, Piglet! I am so scared, and I cannot tell you how much I wish it wasn't so."

Piglet was thoughtful, as he looked out at the blue of the skies, peeping between the branches of the trees in the Hundred Acre Wood, and listened to his friend.

"I'm here," he said, simply. "I hear you, Pooh. And I'm here."
For a moment, Pooh was perplexed.

"But... aren't you going to tell me not to be so silly? That I should stop getting myself into a state and pull myself together? That it's hard for everyone right now?"

"No," said Piglet, quite decisively. "No, I am very much not going to do any of those things."

"But - " said Pooh.

"I can't change the world right now," continued Piglet. "And I am not going to patronize you with platitudes about how everything will be okay because I don't know that.

"What I can do, though, Pooh, is that I can make sure that you know that I am here. And that I will always be here, to listen; and to support you; and for you to know that you are heard.

"I can't make those Anxious Feelings go away, not really.

"But I can promise you that, all the time I have breath left in my body...you won't ever need to feel those Anxious Feelings alone."

And it was a strange thing, because even as Piglet said that, Pooh could feel some of those Anxious Feelings start to loosen their grip on him and could feel one or two of them start to slither away into the forest, cowed by his friend, who sat there stolidly next to him.

Pooh thought he had never been more grateful to have Piglet in his life!

Larry Martin is incredibly thorough in his set up for your event, attention to detail as a standard run of the mill compliment doesn’t hold a candle to the actual level of preparedness he brought to our event. When he arrived he kept the party going for us all through the night and he was an absolute standout in our vendor index. I sincerely hope we get the opportunity to have him MC another event.

I can't think Nikki & Mark enough for the kind words. They and their guests were so much fun and made me feel like a part of the family. Seeing her (and her mom) enjoying themselves on the dance floor that much was heartwarming. Old Holler Farm is so great for couples looking for a rustic feel for their event and I can't thank Marissa Rice enough for all of her assistance in directing the event. We wish Nikki & Mark the best there is in the future lives together and would love to see them at their anniversary party. :)

I found A&A DJ through the Knot. They had amazing ratings, so I reached out to Larry. Their pricing was very reasonable and their team walked with us for the entire planning journey. Anytime I had a concern, they were a simple phone call away. Their questionnaire allowed us to design every musical aspect of our wedding. At the event, our DJ, Craig, was a blast! He kept our guests dancing all night and even gave us a CD with all of our special songs. The owner even stopped by during the wedding reception to make sure that everything was going according to plan. I have zero complaints about the day and I would hire A&A DJ again in a heartbeat!

I can't thank Megan & Will (the new Mr. & Mrs. Linden) for the kind words. The we such an awesome couple to work with and Craig said that their guests were so much fun. When I stopped by, I had to wait through about two songs for Megan to come off of the dance floor so that I could say hi. We wish them every happiness in the future lives together. :)

Martha & David are so kind and such a terrific couple. Helping them plan out the details of their day was such a pleasure for us and Michael said they and their guests couldn't have been more fun to work with the day of the event. We hope everyone there had a fantastic evening and that Martha and David have a a life together filled with love and laughter. :)

We found out about A & A through The Knot, and we decided to go with them because of Larry's wonderful and informational phone call. We also loved how much they were willing to personalize things for our needs. I was worried about the dance floor being too empty, but when I looked around EVERYONE was n the dance floor. I had never seen such a full dance floor before!

They gave us a very in depth sheet to fill out (seriously like 20 pages long), but it was worth taking the time to fill out because they nailed everything we wanted based off of what we had told them in that sheet. Our DJ was named Michael, and he was excellent. I had told him a couple of nicknames that I had as a kid, and he used them during announcements which made everyone laugh and it was so light-hearted and fun. My dad and I had a choreographed dance, and they made it perfect. They started us off with a slow song, had kind of like a scratched record sound play, and then the fast song that we choreographed our dance to came on. The guests loved it!! He also ended the song at the correct time stamp. Our couple first dance was a bit obscure and from a musical, and they played it with no questions asked. There was only one song that they played that I didn't like, I quickly motioned to Michael, and he changed it and didn't play anything else by that artist. It was perfect and seamless. Best of all, you could understand everything that Michael was saying! Most wedding DJ's are hard to understand, but he was well spoken and concise. I would absolutely recommend this company as well as Michael specifically!

I've always loved performing at wedding celebrations where I get to experience the music and celebrations of different cultures. I've done many Indian weddings over the years and this past Saturday, helping Ray & Udit have the east coast celebration of their nuptials at Sedgefield Country Club was especially awesome. Such an fun crowd and never an empty dance floor. Wishing them a lifetime of love and happiness. :)

I can't thank Erika & Adam enough for their kind words. New Year's Eve weddings are always special and there is always a little extra pressure to not only make it a perfect day for the couple, but also to help the guests have a fun and memorable occasion to ring in the new year. Their guests were so much fun and so easy to work with that they made it truly easy for me. And of course, a successful event is always a team effort. So I have to thank Andrew at T. Austin Finch House for always making us feel welcome and Lacy Gabrielle Photography who captured all those special memories for them. They were a beautiful couple and we wish them every happiness in their future lives together.

Hats off to Larry! A&A came as a preferred vendor via recommendation from our venue. From start to finish, this was an absolute wonderful experience. There was never a lull on the dance floor, and Larry navigated the music perfectly. We were given an extremely detailed questionnaire about what we did and didn't want at our reception. Everything was exceptionally delivered. Larry even handled a few of our custom requests seamlessly. We decided to utilize their photobooth add-on and we could not be happier with the results. April worked the booth the entire night and ensured people we having fun, smiling, and interacting with props. The photostrips are very high quality, lighting was perfect. Feels like an authentic photobooth print. A&A made the entire DJ process simple, fun, professional... I can't say enough good things about how this went!

Good evening,

I hope you all are doing amazing. On behalf of Thomas and myself I just wanted to say thank you for making our wedding day everything I could've hoped it would be! You all made this whole process so easy, effortless and personable. I cannot say enough about how amazing all of you were to work with not only the day of but also leading up to the wedding. Typically, a wedding day is stressful (at least for the bride) but, between all of the amazing vendors (yourself included) I felt so at ease about my big day going exactly the way I wanted it (other than the rain of course).
All of our family have talked about how amazing the whole day was especially the music and DJ! You kept everyone who wanted to be on the dance floor out there and we were all exhausted at the end of the night but would not want it any other way! We truly have great memories to look back on thanks to all of you at A & A!

Found this terrific email from Alyssa and Reece who's event we did at the Botanical Gardens in Kernersville. These types of comments from our couples make my day. :)

I wanted to send out an email to personally thank you. Yesterday was perfect and I danced my night away. I didn’t catch his name, but Craig had a younger male with him and he was AMAZING! Such a good time! All our family and friends kept coming up to me saying how great he was. Craig was also amazing and kind as could be! All around you have such a professional and kind staff!
