Whilst honeymooning in New Zealand I jumped at the opportunity to revisit the family I used to work for when I was grape harvesting there 7 years ago.
Going back there has made me realise just how far I have come since making the decision to fly out to New Zealand to work in 2016. I have always had a passion for machinery, but I think working over there and developing my machine operation skills was a pinnacle point in my life.
Do you remember the Haynes car manuals that you used to get? Maybe they still do them but I don’t see them kicking about as much. You could read a manual from cover to cover but it didn’t mean you knew how to fix the car. During my first (working) trip to NZ my machinery knowledge went from reading the manual to knowing how to operate the car (machinery in this case).
I am not an expert on every available piece of equipment, but when I tell you my niche is machinery, that isn’t because I have googled it or read a manual. I have been down and dirty operating real life machinery.
My happy place…wellies on, field full of shiny machines, creating client content!

Let’s talk about photography 📸
You need a bloody good image to accompany editorials, social content, adverts and most other forms of marketing. That’s what initially catches eyes.
I didn’t start my business to be a photographer but let’s face it, it goes hand in hand with marketing. Since discovering my passion for photography I have invested a lot of money into equipment and time into learning a lot of new photography and editing skills. For both of those reasons it just makes sense to offer photography as a service.
Whether it is to accompany a piece of editorial or purely for content creation. I can come to your premises and conduct a half or full-day photoshoot. I have a Canon EOS R camera and DJI Phantom 3 pro drone to take the best photo of either you, your machinery, or both!

Romania Holiday
I took last week off, set my out of office and travelled to Romania with my husband and some of our friends. It was truly beautiful! We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a hotel room with a balcony and the views were so breathtaking I could have sat there all day and just watched the world go by.
Completely unrelated to work, I know! But I am super grateful that I work for myself and that I can visit Romania or any other country whenever I want! I work hard and we all need a break sometimes, don’t we?

You have a social media page – fantastic! But what do you do with it? If you are posting content this is another step in the right direction as your ideal client now knows you exist and what you do.
But if you’re only posting content and not engaging with your ideal clients it is like having a trade stand at an event and not talking to any of your existing or potential clients.
Remember that there is a real person behind the social media account. They could be your next customer!
