I sort of stumbled in to creating this style when I was messing around with brushes. It was inspired by the artwork of Ludwig Bemelmans 👒 I have a piece of his art in my office that my mom gave me and I love it so much. Also, Madeline.✨ Happy Saturday, everyone! I wonder how many random thunderstorms will happen in the city today? 😑

Back home and so excited for these guests who have finally gotten these envelopes 🖤🖤🖤 why is this style just so satisfying to me?! It’s so graphic and cool 😎

For those of you who like to see the whole process ⏳Love this Lagoon colored paint I made for this batch of envelopes! A good reminder that even the most carefree looking styles take the same amount of time (sometimes more!) as the more traditional looking ones.

Yeah the brush lettering kick is real 🤍🖤 I love the organic look of it! And yes, as many of you have asked, I like to really saturate the brush.

A few bits of a very sweet commission piece. 💗 Used a rather large @princetonbrush to give this artwork the look I wanted. This is a tough brush! It’s not as quick on the turns, and very delicate.
