I had the absolute pleasure of working with the lovely Caitlin & Robbie on their dream wedding invitations for their upcoming special day in breathtaking Sorrento, Italy! 🍋🌊

Their vision was clear: incorporate shades of green, lemons, and a hint of blue, all wrapped up in a unique passport-style design that would stand out from the crowd. 🌿

What made this project truly special was their custom logo, which we beautifully integrated into both the invitation and a custom wax seal—a perfect personal touch.

At Indy Bee Crafts, I pride myself on completely bespoke designs and unlimited revisions. It took a few iterations to get the timeline and finer details page just right, but the end result was well worth it!

This project wasn't just about creating invitations; it was about capturing Caitlin & Robbie's story. I'm grateful for the trust they placed in me and for the opportunity to bring their vision to life with creativity and attention to detail. ❤️

Wow, well this weekend was pretty amazing!! 💌

Such a big moment for my business being able to showcase all my wedding stationery at the ✨☺️🤍

It was an incredible weekend meeting so many lovely couples and having them join the Indy Bee Crafts family 😊🙃

Massive thanks to my family for all your support, my dad for the heavy lifting, my sister and my bestie for being an extra pair of hands over the weekend too 🥰

So I’m gonna let you in on a little pet peeve of mine... when I hear people say, “well these are just gonna get thrown away” or “it’s just a piece of paper.” 🤦🏻‍♀️

These are your wedding invitations, people! 💌 Your guest’s first glimpse into your wedding. The single thing that sets the tone for your big day. A moment frozen in time of all of the day’s details.✨ They are so much more than a piece of paper. 💚

I have kept all my friends’ and family’s wedding invitations, including mine! Maybe that’s what got me into doing this? 🥹

So next time people say, “these are just gonna get thrown away” - fast forward to your family reading them 50 years from now. How would you like to capture the details of your day? ✍️

I promise you I will never treat your invitations like just a piece of paper. 🌿

Some details from my favourite custom order this year 🍋

Caitlin & Robbie were so lovely to work with! As they are getting married in the beautiful Sorrento, Italy 💛🇮🇹 we wanted to add a nod to the beautiful region with the lemons. They also opted to add a few extras such as envelope liners and a custom wax seal which finished the invitations perfectly.

I am sure they will have the most amazing day and I cannot wait to see the pictures 👰🏻🤵🏼

I just can’t get over how much elegance a wax seal can bring to your wedding invitations. It’s also amazing when they can be customised, such as adding your initials or maybe hold a special meaning 🤍 I adore creating custom and bespoke stationery for my clients. If you would like to chat through your options on working with me please send me a message ☺️

I spent a few hours this week on print service orders ✨ watch me pack them up and send them off to my lovely customers 😍 And yes I do reuse boxes when I can- they may look a bit old but I’m trying to do my bit for the environment ♻️ most of my bubble wrap is also re-purposed from my supplier packages 🤩

Add a WAX SEAL 🩵 it creates such an elegant experience for your guests and is my all time favourite addition to any stationery 💌 2. Add a quote from your favourite song, poem or book. It’s a beautiful personalised touch to add 💕 3. Envelope liners ☺️🥰 oh how I love that little peak of what is a gorgeous invitation inside. Add the florals, monogram or date from your design and it to a liner! You will not regret it 💌 4. Guest addressing 🏡 make your envelopes just as gorgeous as your invitations! Guest addressing takes out all the hassle of hand writing PLUS it looks great. 5. Ribbon and a tag with your names ✨☺️ it just looks so pretty. Creating handcrafted wedding stationery with love

I’m Jen from Scotland and the creative behind Indy Bee Crafts. I can usually be found crafting away with a cup of tea nearby. I’ve combined my passion for creating with weddings to make beautiful stationery that sells world-wide.

My story so far...

I started this small business whilst I was on maternity leave with my daughter. I have since had a little boy and Indy Bee Crafts has become my main income. It has developed into my dream job and I love that I can create items that couples will keep and cherish.

I’ve now been in the industry for two years and have planned my own wedding so I have lots of knowledge on all things wedding related!
