Here at GPA we were delighted to be able to support The Fire Fighters Charity at the Alloa Fire Station Community Fun day.

As anyone that runs a business knows, there is high demand from charities, particularly at present, for support. But as a small business, we can only help so many per year, unfortunately.

The emergency services are always there for us, so it seemed only right to be there for them when we could.

Katie and I are looking forward to heading to Alloa tomorrow for the community open day at the Fire Station.

Come along and meet the crew, have a look around the engines and other emergency vehicles.

I'm looking forward to seeing the search and rescue dogs and their handlers too!

Of course don't forget to come and see us and get your facepainted. We will be donating part of our proceeds on the day to charity so don't be shy😉

What a marvelous time we had today at the Dunblane Fling . Another phenomenal turnout and we'd like to thank everyone that came down to see us.

Feet up and a wee cheeky takeaway for team GPA this evening.

Dunblane Fling - Important info

1 sleep to go!! We are praying to the sunshine god/goddesses etc for a dry night and a brighter day tomorrow for the fling! Kick off is at 12 noon.

If you are popping down, please be aware that due to a technical issue, we will be operating a manual queuing system this year. However we do have additional crew taking payments and helping out which should help keep the queue moving.

We also have a borrow box of fidget toys at the front desk incase any of your youngsters are becoming restless.

There are a limited amount however, so please return them to the desk when it's your turn so that they can be passed on to others in the line.

Can't wait to see you there!!

It's that time of year again for us to fill up our kits, stock up on gems, glitter and tattoos and get ready for our busy season. From the end of March until Christmas things are pretty busy at GPA head quarters.

Remember - not all paint is safe for faces.

It's festive face painting season, professional facepainters are working all over spreading cheer.

But it's also a time when non professionals try and make a fast buck using substandard products.

If you see bottles/tubes/liquid paints (unless it's for an airbrush system), walk away.

Acrylic (or wall 🤣) paint should never be used purposefully on skin.

Brands such as Snazzaroo, mehron, kryolan, pxp, global, fusion, dfx, silly farm, cameleon are safe and come in cake form. Some painters decant to maximise space in their kits. But never be afraid to ask what kind of paint they are using. A reputable painter won't mind you asking.

Wow!!!! This years Dunblane Fling was yet again a brilliant event. The team behind it do so much to make it an outstanding event every year ❤️

Big thanks from two very tired painters this evening. We really appreciate everyone who came down to see us 😍

On the whole the feedback from the QR code queueing system was good. As it allowed families to do other activities and come back when it was their turn. We painted a lot of children (and 1 adult 😊) today. Literally hundreds of you visited us. So thank you.

We are so very sorry to those of you that we physically couldn't paint today. I I really hope you will come back and see us next year.
