More times than not clients have no idea the amount of work and labor that goes into bringing the vision to life.

• Prepping the flowers
• Removing the leaves
• Trimming stems
• Removing flower petals
• sizing them for their setting
• changing out the water
• Fastening them properly with tons of zip ties, rubber bands & metal string
• Cutting a piece of wood the size of your pipe and drape for better support

… I could go on and on. One day I’ll share how I was able to create this beautiful floral arch.

Bringing this floral arch to life took at least 20 hours total! The labor is serious! This was aside from the decor that was provided: ironed linens, candle holders, candles. You think this is easy peasy but you hat doesn’t account for taking those items out of their individual boxes, filling up buckets of water for floating candles, the wind! Linens were being lifted off the tables as we set them down. 😂 It’s a lot of running around.

Concerned about waste?

Cruz Events LLC is thoughtful about waste and strives for sustainability when delivering memorable events! One of the things we love to offer is the opportunity to rehome, repurpose and donate the florals we create for your event!

Most times floral arrangements are thrown out at the end of the night where they are admired by no one else and materials used to create them end up in a trash fill. We hate wasting!

We will take your florals and donate them to a place of your choice or if you have no preference we will take them to a local place of worship, hospice care, a school or hospital. We are even able to donate to funeral homes.

We want to not only share the joy of beautiful floral arrangements but while doing so be mindful of wastefulness.

We offer a great alternative for couples who need to stay within a budget! If you desire beautiful floral arrangements for your special day and can’t afford a professional florist, I am here to help!

I’ve seen a lot of brides, stress themselves out DIYing their own wedding florals when they should be enjoying the process of being pampered leading up to the wedding day!

Let us step in and take over! We can use the florals already purchased by you OR better yet we can order them for you, properly prepare them days ahead, arrange them & deliver!

What’s the difference from a professional florist? Well for one we are not professional florists and I certainly do not want to make light of the amazing work that they do! We simply offer a budget friendly alternative for couples who are in a strict budget, where we purchase florals from your local stores as opposed to a professional florist, who gets their florals, mainly from a distributor.

My favorite part of designing & curating customized event decor are mock tables!

What are mock tables? They are a presentation of what your table decor will look like on your special day! This is the time where I take our clients ideas and vision and put linens, chargers, table numbers, candles and any additional decor together to ensure I fully understand what they want. This is also an opportunity for the client to speak up confirm what they see is accurate or decide they want to change colors & details of the decor!

This is like playing pretend until it’s not because it will be exactly what the client sees on event day!
