Welcome Gifts are such a great way to thank your out of town guests for attending your wedding and make them feel at home. Totes and gift bags will always be a popular choice for this, but I personally LOVE to help my clients curate gift boxes because who doesn’t enjoy opening present?! 🙋🏽‍♀️ 🎁
has helped me create some of my favorite welcome gifts. We include beverages, snacks, and keepsakes that fit each event’s color story, theme and overall feel. This particular one was extra special because we included these hand-drawn venue cookies by ! We also had two versions created…a sleek grey box for guests and a wooden version for the wedding party members. If you look closely at slide #4, you’ll see that each wooden box is personalized ❤️. I love including special touches like this to make your guests feel extra special! 🥂

When Sarah and Stephen first came to me, they already had a venue in mind due to its amazing view. They wanted an elegant D.C. wedding to show off their home city to their many out-of-town guests. They desired a venue with a view, a classic feel, lots of natural light, and columns. Even though it wasn’t on their original list, I immediately asked if they were open to touring before making their final decision because it checked all of these boxes. It ended up being an even better fit for their needs! The moral of the story is that a seasoned planner will guide you towards venues and vendors that will be the best fit based on your priorities, budget, and desired aesthetic. We ended up with the most beautiful day and a memorable night! ✨
