Hey, guys! I know it's been a while, but I wanted to show you a quick thing I put together that I'm going to be printing out soon for a display for one of my props.

I have a wonderful print of Corvo Attano's crossbow from the first Dishonored game. During my recent move the original print I had made was destroyed beyond repair. I just finished reprinting it, but I decided it was time to print a stand for it, too. So here's the preliminary mockup of the stand I'm making. There's still some fine-tuning to be done, and I want to put the Outsider's mark on the base, and I'm trying to decide whether it should be a medallion in the base, or carved in.

Thoughts?

I told you there'd be more pictures, soon! So, not only am I making the armor, I'm making the hardware, too. The clips for her shield's harness are also part of this model, so anyone going for broke can make sure they're as accurate as possible! Still have to do a couple things to make extra sure it's accurate, but I'm well on my way.

I'm probably an odd duck in this regard, but I believe very firmly that having something you want to do is the best way to figure out how to do it. For instance, my recent soiree into 3D modelling. There are several models and props I want to make, but have not seen made available on sites like Thingiverse, MyMiniFactory, Etsy, or any of the other places 3D models are generally made available.

So...I learn how to do it myself. YouTube and wonderful teachers I've found on Facebook and beyond have helped me figure it out, and every day I learn just how much I still *don't* know, but I'm making progress. Every day. Every day I'm closer to being able to make the things I want from the nerdy things I love. And that makes me happy.

I know this post doesn't have any of the pictures I generally have on things like this, but believe me, those are coming.
