AI has officially entered the chat - and yes, it’s rewriting the rules of the game. But before you cue the applause or sound the alarm, let’s take a moment to sip some truth tea.

When we first launched our business, this tech wizardry was nowhere to be found. Perfect products? They didn’t exist (spoiler: they still don’t). Every caption, every edit, every campaign was painstakingly handcrafted by people - with all their glorious flaws and irreplaceable finesse. I taught myself Photoshop long before “generate fill” became a thing. Every brushstroke, every edit carried a heartbeat, a human story. Sure, there were typos in captions or a slight overexposure in a photo, but that was part of the charm, wasn’t it? Humans make mistakes.

And then there’s AI: clean, calculated, and - let’s face it - a little emotionally tone-deaf. It’s the overachiever who gets a 90% on every test but misses the soulful nuance of that last 10%. The missing piece is emotion, intuition, the raw energy of human creativity.

One of the most enriching aspects of our work as wedding photographers and filmmakers is the privilege of witnessing the beautiful diversity of cultures and traditions.
