Design Season is Here! 🎨 From October through March, I trade weekends onsite for week days at my desk building the foundation for our client’s celebrations. Lucky for me, we are surrounded by nature’s best here in the Kootenays, which offers endless inspiration. I can’t help but slip some of this charm into each of my client’s designs in some way. 🍂

This past month, I’ve been snapping photos of the simple, joyful things that catch my eye. The beauty of this Kootenay fall has really gotten my juices flowing and has reminded me that a design epiphany {or a romantic autumn color palette} can come from the smallest detail. 🤍

🔸This palette combines soft blush and earthy neutrals with rich, grounded tones, creating a look that feels cozy, natural, and a bit nostalgic while keeping a romantic touch. It would work beautifully in designs that aim to evoke warmth, comfort, and the elegance of nature.🔸

We are starting to get galleries back from our 2024 wedding season and I have been in heaven reliving each client’s day. There are so many moments during an event that I personally miss as we are prepping for the next thing or solving a challenge. Getting to see them in picture form post wedding always has me humbled 💕 it still rocks me how fortunate I am to share such a sacred day with so many incredible individuals and the people they love the most.

Life has been a whirlwind lately— our team has been executing unforgettable weddings with incredible clients, while I’ve also been embracing the sweetest new chapter: welcoming our daughter into the family! 💕 My heart is so full as we transition to life as a family of 4, and I couldn’t have done it without my amazing team who’ve been absolute rockstars holding down the fort the last few weeks while I’ve been adjusting. Not to mention our clients who have been so trusting through this season! You all mean the world to me! 🫶

We’ve got one more beautiful wedding left to close out the season, and I’m beyond grateful for the love, support, and joy this year has brought. Here’s to finishing on high with T+R! 💫

Thank you so much for visiting my space! Wild Smile Events stemmed from years of volunteerism, personal study and a passion for organizing the complex and tedious details that come with hosting events. Not to mention the love of celebrating all life's little wondrous moments with those I care about the most. After years of quietly dreaming about this business in my head I jumped on the courage train to make it a reality! Now I get to be creative, and give back while creating lasting memories for people to reflect back on. What an incredible opportunity!

There are so many qualities about events that I love; how they cultivate connection, and the unique atmosphere that each type creates. These aspects can truly spark magic in the human soul and unearth a hidden sense of joy. I have been extremely fortunate to have attended many events throughout my life that have left a lasting impact on me and now that is what I like to do for my clients. I will 100% argue that More Celebrations = More Happiness!
