After the *massive* success of the inaugural FINIS OMNIUM, I am gearing up and taking expressions of interest for FINIS OMNIUM 2.

Thanks to a stellar line up in October of 2023 of Dark Divinity, The Rising Tide, Horrendous Disfigurement, Abysm, Teeth And Nails, and Insidious Retch all crushing it at a near filled-to-capacity Valhalla, the first thing that crossed my mind was "how do I top this!?".

It's time to find out...

Here's The Rising Tide absolutely smashing it at Finis Omnium in late 2023. Valhalla was approaching capacity, this was by far the best turn out for one of my shows ever.

Throwback Friday, this was the second show I ever put on and boy was it a big one. Ten bands competing, MetalTower as the guest headliner, two nights back to back, sponsors, prizes and judges.
Back when Valhalla was still called Medusa, and Ben had only owned the bar for a relatively short time.
This is a concept I've considered going back to a few times over the years, as everyone in the metal community knows "normal" BOTB's have no interest in metal music, and a number of them have the audacity to charge bands to enter.
Maybe one day...

To get us started, here is a drop (in no particular order) of the posters for some of the shows I've put on over the years - the ones that I can find. There have been a handful more, but those posters are lost to the winds of time 👋
As you'll see here I've hosted dozens of kiwi bands, including some heavy hitters of the NZ metal scene.
BUT, there's still a lot more bands I want to check off before my time is done!
