He Didn't Throw The Clay Away

Papaw here...Great service at Fellowship this morning!!! Pastor Ron's message was on Forgiveness, how Jesus' words on the cross, "Father, forgive them;... is our example when it comes to those that may insult or harm us in some way. We should be eager to reconcile and forgive others because we have been forgiven ourselves, and when WE mess up, he forgives us still!! Jensen, one of grandsons helps a little on the guitar, hope you enjoy the message in this song.

Welcome to our page

The idea of Papaw’s Gospel Sing came about after a long visit with the Jim Brady Trio at Anderson Indiana in September of 2017. From that visit I felt the Lord leading me to start promoting Gospel Music in the East Central Indiana Area. I took Jim’s advice and contacted The Harper Agency and started working on dates to host two concerts in 2018. During this process I had several opportunities to host other groups earlier than when I had The Jim Brady Trio scheduled, I was actually glad it didn’t work out because I wanted The Jim Brady Trio to be the first concert I hosted.

Papaw’s Gospel Sing is also in memory of my Dad, Oddos D. Morris. Dad went home to be with the Lord a year ago today, March 8, 2017. Dad was a minister and knew the importance of Singing in our worship to the Lord Jesus Christ. He is greatly missed by his family and all who knew him.

I have three concerts scheduled for 2018, they are being held at the Fellowship Baptist Church in Muncie Indiana. The first one is The Jim Brady Trio on the 23rd of March at 7:00 pm. The second one is Brian Free & Assurance on the 15th of June at 7:00 pm. The third one is The Whisnants on the 21st of September at 7:00 pm. We had to cancel then Whisnants concert but we scheduled the Old TIme Preachers Quartet for the 1st of September at 6:00 pm. My prayer is that we will be able to bring many wonderful groups to the East Central Indiana Area in the years to come.
