Well folks, the time has come. Unfortunately i have to relinquish my presenters role on the Tuesday night ValleyFM Rock Show. Thanks for listening to me drone on between some of the greatest music ever recorded for the past five years. Bob James will be taking the reins this week and he will have exiting news about a new presenter at Valley FM. Tune in on 94.5, 102.1 to get the latest news.

Altohough I'm stepping down from the Tuesday night slot you may still hear me popping up on ValleyFM from time to time.

We have sadly lost one of the truly great guitarists on the world. Jeff Beck passed away on the 10th of January. There have been numerous tributes to the man describe as "The Guitarists Guitarist" from the music world.
As well as his fantastic guitar work he was also a benefactor of a small charity which my wife and I were very close to before we moved to Spain and still has a place in our heart.

Tonight is the last Valley FM Rock Show of 2022 so this show will be an end of year Rock Party. Two hours of the best rocking party tracks and less rambling from me 😎

You may know that Thunder lead singer, Danny Bowes, suffered a serious head injury in August. His recovery has been slow but he's now coming along. Thunder fans clubbed together to raise money for special treatment which will aid his recovery. Hopefully Danny will make a full recovery.

Our nominations for the greatest guitarist this week are Jeff Healy, Laurence Archer and Steve Howe. Thanks for the suggestions Sue Guyver and Ian Sinclair.

There have been new album releases from Ozzy Osbourne, H.E.A.T. and Orianthi recently and we have tracks from these artists in the first hour. Of course there is also the best classic rock tracks over the rest of the show.

This weeks show continues looking at the greatest guitarists in Rock. Suggestions for Jan Akkerman, Steve Vai, Yngwie Malmsteen and Orianthi have joined the list. Who would YOU like to see added to the list?

After two weeks in the UK! I'm so glad to get back to the Orba Valley!
This weeks ValleyFM Rock show is on air from 1900 to 2100 (1800 to 2000 in the UK) on Tuesday evening. Great rock track including a suggestion for guitarists who would be in a list of top guitarists of all time. of the four in the picture, Dave Gilmour, Jimi Hendrix, Peter Green and Rory Gallagher, who would make YOUR list?
