UPDATE: WE WERE APPROVED!!! For those who don't know the history of our catering company, our ministry-minded business spun off a formal 501c3 nonprofit called The Ivy Table about 2 years ago. We are now pursuing a brick and mortar space that will allow that ministry to grow. Please be praying over tonight's Brighton Township Planning Meeting. We would love the opportunity to turn a vacant building and eyesore into a blessing for our community and beyond.

After catering an amazing wedding this weekend at the Tandale Nature Barn, the beautiful couple asked to donate their leftover food to our nonprofit, The Ivy Table. We were thrilled to pack up over 40 beef tenderloin dinners and distribute them those in need in our area. What a very special treat!!! Unfortunately, we are not able to offer a 'Heat and Eat Easter Brunch' this year like we have in the past due to repairs that will be taking place in our kitchen that week. We are, however, offering a "Spring Forward Heat and Eat Brunch" next weekend (March 9). Many of the dished being offered with that brunch will freeze and reheat beautifully if you would like to purchase now and use for Easter.

The dishes that we would recommend purchasing if you plan to freeze, thaw, and heat would be:

We are so excited! Mark your calendars for 9am, Feb 15.

In September 2020 (after losing someone very close to us to su***de), we hosted a Dessert Walk at the beautiful grounds of Barn45 in Highland to educate people about the su***de epidemic and to raise money for su***de prevention. Now, nearly 4 years later, we have been asked to return to this very special barn -This time, as the guest co-hosts to their morning Bible study, which streams live worldwide every weekday.

Although many things have changed since our first trip to Barn 45, the desire to run our business in a way that helps others, makes a difference in the world, and shines the light of Christ has remained constant. The creation of our nonprofit, The Ivy Table in 2022, has expanded our ability to feed hope, faith, and love throughout Livingston County, and now also to those living 8,400 miles away in the country of Thailand. It’s incredible what the Lord has done in our lives through this business, and we are excited for the opportunity to share the details of His faithfulness with so many.

Tune in THIS Thursday, February 15, at 9am EST as we share how God called us (a couple of non-chefs) to run a catering business, and how He blessed us (some unqualified housewives from Brighton, Mi) with a ministry half way across the world. It will be streamed live on both Barn45’s page and YouTube channel (and will stay posed for those who miss it live, but want to view it later).

As exciting as this is…it is also WAY outside our comfort zone. Please pray for us- that our words would be clear, that they would inspire others to step out in faith, and that they would be glorifying to the Lord.

Over the past year, our little company has given away $64,983 by way of discounts and donations to local nonprofits. We say this not to boast, but to demonstrate how much we believe in giving back. When we live in gratefulness, we cant help but to give with generosity.

About a year ago, we not only had the pleasure of meeting chefs Gabriel and Gabriella Botezan, we also got to enjoy their amazing food at a pop up dinner in Detroit. We are SO EXCITED to announce that we are bringing these incredibly talented chefs to Brighton on December 10, as we team up to create a very special meal during our Tinsel & Tidings Christmas Gala, which will benefit our nonprofit, The Ivy Table. If you love great food and great music, this will be an event you don’t want to miss!

In addition to mouthwatering appetizers, dinner, dessert, and wine tastings, we will also have live music from Americas Got Talent singer and semi-finalist, LaChune Boyd.
