I've said this before but one of my favorite things to do during preps when there is a video crew is to just step back a bit. I take a wide lens often my Leica Q which is on my side the whole day and try to find views that family or friend would have during the moment.
Here Dominik just finished getting ready and the video crew wanted some posed clips. I stepped out and stood behind the best man and a few family members. shooting over the shoulder created a nice frame as well as a feeling of peaking in.

There is something I just love about this photo. I capture moments to tell a story but sometimes a story can be made up by the viewer.
Looking at this picture I see Magda our beautiful bride dancing away to music before the prep. In reality it was captured as she was walking from one room to another and she stopped as her sister called her.
A picture is a moment in time but how we view it is another story. This is the beauty of photojournalism.

something that we always bring to each shoot or wedding we do is our set of nanlite lights. The quality of light and colour they produce is amazing. We use them for soft light or to even to simulate the sun as we did her during a shoot with Ania

2022 was a bit different we started to go away from doing wedding shoots on a different day. Instead to use the area of the venue and shoot on location. There are many advantages to it. The couple is already ready, happy, full of emotions. These shoots last around 15 minutes but we do a few of them during the day. During the day and night
