“How does the process work??”

I take pride in painting from life, capturing the essence of your wedding in real time, THEN taking reference photos of you during the scene you want painted such as the first kiss, first dance, etc. I received my BFA from MSU and spent thousands of hours truly painting from life and think it’s a better way to capture the ambiance versus starting from a photograph. I am at the wedding starting about an hour or 2 before the ceremony and continue until the end of the reception. I also think it is very sweet engaging with the guest since many people do not get to see the painting process very often🥹 Depending on many factors I will be 90%, 95%, or 100% complete at the end of the evening 💓
