PALE BLUE OR NAVY BLUE?

I couldn’t decide what I wanted for my table at the Bridal Boutique by so I searched and searched until I decided that I wanted to play with Pantone’s Color of the Year: Viva Magenta. So I played on .co to find my perfect match.
Originally, I was found to have a pale blue linen instead of the navy blue. Buuuuuuut as life happens, I had to change the linen to what I had on hand.
Now that photographed the table, I’ve realized that the navy blue was a beautiful choice against the viva magenta and I’m obsessed 😻😻😻

What do you think? Should I have gone with the pale blue?

Right as today’s ceremony was supposed to start, rain started pouring down. As guests ran in, we ran out to dry off the chairs. Once we dried the chairs and started having guests come sit, it started raining AGAIN! So the process restarted until the ceremony began. That was my day, how was yours?

LET’S TALK ✨TEXTURES ✨

When I was first learning to design Tablescapes, I was terrified to give my tables texture. I thought I needed a crisp, one-colored linen, candles that had been just unwrapped, and plates on chargers.

Then I saw a post of a tablescape that was so textured and beautiful and I told myself that pushing myself to new limits would help me become a better designer.

…fast forward to last weekend. We wanted something elegant and timeless, but I wanted to bring texture while saying in a budget.
These are my textures:
• Soft Pink Linen
• White Lace Overlay Linen
• Clear Charger Plate with Beaded Edges
• Iconic Gold Flatware
• Clear Wine Glasses
• Purple Goblets to give color and texture
(all of the above is from )
• Gold thin Candelabras with differing heights of purple candles (I lit the candles so they would melt before adding them to the table)
• White Floral Vases with texture
• FLORALS! Ask for tips on adding texture to your tablescape with florals
• Macarons on the Chargers to give a dainty look.
