It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of another classmate, Janet Blackwelder McClure. Janet attended Troutman Elementary and Troutman Middle School and then went on to graduate from South Iredell. Janet was a great friend to many of us and will be missed.

Once again, we have made memories while having fun. Thank you, everyone who had the opportunity to attend the SI Class of 1969 reunion. They keep getting better just like we do with age.

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of another one of our classmates, Patrick Henry Brannon, affectionly known as Pat. He did pass away two years ago but we just received the information concerning his death.

As of today, Sept 2nd, we have a total of 78 people attending our 55th reunion. Fifty of those are our classmates.

We have lost another classmate. Sherry Lynn Elliott Haag passed away on August 30th. She was a Troutman student and she was a friend to everyone. She will be missed greatly but she is now with her beloved husband.

SI Class of 1969, we need to send healing prayers to Sandy Mayberry Waugh as she recovers from brain surgery. She had a cancerous mass that had to be removed from her brain. She is in Recovery at Baptist Hospital in Winston Salem. Her husband, Sammy Waugh, is by her side. She needs all the prayers that we can send her.
