Once her friends started asking for her services, Lindsay created Kooser Design Stationery & Events. Lindsay wanted to be apart of the wedding industry and got an internship at a store called Mr. and Mrs. Wedding Planning. After she worked there, Lindsay started doing wedding coordination for her friends.

“Having a wedding coordinator on your wedding day is like having your own personal assistant

for the bride and usually the bride and groom’s mothers. I come in during the planning process to keep the bride on track. I give her referrals and reminder her of certain things she needs to do. On the wedding day I come in with our timeline we create beforehand and work behind the senses on that special day!” – Lindsay

Ideally if able, start searching on what you’d like and what fabric feels best. Keep in mind to try all styles and be open minded! Most of our brides always come back saying they picked a dress they didn’t know if they’d like. The moment is suppose to feel magical so don’t go to your appointment set on just ONE dress.

Our Academy All-Star Kaylie!!!

When Kaylie first emailed asking to intern with Veil Events, I kindly “responded with thanks for reaching out, but we don’t take interns.” Honestly, I had never even considered bringing someone along to assist at weddings.
😅
But the very next Saturday, I had a wedding… and really needed some help. Suddenly, an extra set of hands didn’t sound like such a bad idea.

A few hours later I emailed her back: “Actually… we now take interns and are you free to work this Saturday?”

She said yes — and we’ve never looked back.
Kaylie keeps us running and thriving!
