Once her friends started asking for her services, Lindsay created Kooser Design Stationery & Events. Lindsay wanted to be apart of the wedding industry and got an internship at a store called Mr. and Mrs. Wedding Planning. After she worked there, Lindsay started doing wedding coordination for her friends.

Six years ago, I rebranded and expanded with an incredible team, and together, we’ve made so many wedding dreams come true. It’s been a rewarding journey since starting my first business 12 years ago, and we couldn’t have done it without the love and trust of our wonderful couples—and, of course, my amazing team, who makes every event unforgettable!

And today is extra special because it’s also my husband’s and my 15th wedding anniversary! 💍 Fun fact: I didn’t plan to relaunch Veil Events on this day, but it feels like fate. It’s a beautiful reminder that I never stopped doing what I love after planning my own wedding 15 years ago! 💕

It’s Wedding Wednesday and we’re here to teach you all about cake cutting! You can’t imagine how overwhelming wedding cake cutting can look but we promise you it’s easy Step 1: Make sure you’ve got everything you need at the cake table (cake knife, serving utensils, plates, napkins, ect.) Step 2: When the time comes, stand behind your cake for those cake photos Step 3: Once ready, the small hands usually holds the knife and the bigger set of hands will go over Step 4: Using the cake knife cut two slits on the bottom layer leaving about 1-2in in between Step 5: Continuing with the cake knife, vertically cut into the cake from the top Step 6: With a serving utensil (if you don’t have one you can just use a fork), grab the piece you’ve just cut and place it onto a plate Step 7: Enjoy that cake! #cakecutting #weddingcake #weddingplanning #weddingplanner #weddingday #wedding #weddingtips #wedkc #kcweddingvendor #kcweddings #topekawedding
