Feeling old but very happy for on her marriage - she used to help run our old Columbia play center back in 2010-11! And great to also see (far right of pic) who worked for us for many years back around that time and now has 2 kids! I always knew they’d both be successes! (And to make them feel old, they used to babysit my 18 year old when she was tiny)

Best night of the year. It’s become our tradition to eat our faces off at a hibachi restaurant at the end of the season to celebrate our core team’s hard work. It was great to get some of the college guys to join as well. Thanks to our team for all of the hard work you put in all year to make so many events special!

We are very saddened to hear about the child who died in when a bounce house went flying at a minor league baseball game in Southern MD. It’s a terrible tragedy and even worse because it was preventable.

As someone who has been bringing inflatables to events for 15 years, I’m always worried about safety. It’s why I never leave an inflatable anywhere without one of my staff who I trust monitoring.

Just yesterday, we were texting staff during events about weather reports, watching wind and discussing contingency plans. That’s typical because inflatables and wind don’t go together. We stake and sandbag per manufacturer specifications and we get inspected frequently, but if it gets really windy, the inflatables come down. Period.

I don’t know what the situation was at the SoMd tragedy - they could have done the right thing with weighing down equipment. When you’re looking to have an inflatable at your event, make sure to hire someone reputable. Make sure you have someone you trust monitoring the equipment at all times. Make sure you are watching the weather. And don’t take chances.

has worked hundreds of events over the last decade and has been a great leader for our company. Today is his last day with us as he leaves for Ohio State tomorrow to start medical school. Alejandro has become a big part of our family, and we know he will be a huge success.
