After several years working for a major events production company in Portland, Oregon I decided to challenge myself with just that – and here I am. Welcome. I didn’t intend on counting them up today, but while I was organizing some paperwork I realized that I just finished my 3️⃣0️⃣th wedding as ! Thirty beautiful and unique celebrations, thirty of the most amazing pairs of people you could imagine. And while I don’t always have the opportunity to get a photo with them, I am so grateful to each and every couple who have entrusted me to guide them and care for their day. 💕

Okay, okay. So last year I had the absolute pleasure of guiding these two lovebirds through their planning process and what an incredible weekend they had! From a fireside welcome jam-session to a slip-n-slide brunch, they did it all and these few snaps from the day hardly scratch the surface of the celebratory atmosphere, so expect a few more follow-ups from this one!

Watching capture their weekend was so inspiring, these two dive right in to get *the* shot. Stunning work, as always.

knocked it out of the park with this woodsy-inspired cutting cake complete with edible mushrooms and moss!

Happy first day of fall! 🍂 As much as I love summer, I am alllll in on cozy autumn colors. I am a color-theorist at heart and nothing makes me happier than a blissful mix of sienna, ochre, burgundy and sage hues.

I had the absolute pleasure of getting to know M+C over the last eight months of planning their long-anticipated nuptials. They selected the most charming location, which is easily one of my fave new venues in the Gorge . Loving this sweet moment in the greenhouse 😍

There’s nothing quite like that first toast with your new spouse! Whether it’s a cocktail or mocktail, I love the personal touch that offering a signature drink on your bar menu brings to any celebration. 🥂

These gorgeous charcuterie cups are a perfect way to incorporate an appetizer and extra pop of color into your tablescape. I may be stealing this for my Easter table this weekend! 🌸

The most precious ‘event’ I ever worked on.

I’ve taken the last few months to settle into this first-time parent life with my family and while I have so loved stepping away from the real world for a bit I am even more energized looking into the new year. So excited for my 2024 couples as we hit the ground running in January!

Until then, soak in every ounce of magic this holiday season brings and I’ll see you all on the other side. Happy Holidays! ✨

Double-headers are not my usual thing, but I couldn’t pass up working with either of these amazing couples last weekend!

B+K planned a minimalistic urban-greenery vibe for Friday while M+D followed on Saturday with a lush boho theme.

I loved the juxtaposition of these two celebrations as well as the amazing similarities these couples shared (to-the-point ceremonies and uber-chill personas). And while I won’t be pulling off two weddings in the same weekend again anytime soon, these were extra special to be a part of.

Don’t get me wrong, I love a gorgeous statement wedding cake. But I also love… not cake.

From pies to petit fours, ice cream to s’mores and beyond, couples are pushing past the boundaries of ‘cake’. This “holy matrimony” display brought a distinct Portland flair to the Gorge on a fun summer afternoon.

K+R couldn’t have ordered up a more perfect weekend. The ivory and sage details fit into Crag Rat Hut’s majestic backdrop seamlessly. *chefs kiss* Many of my couples are planning destination weddings in the gorge (from all across this country!) and I love, LOVE, helping them show off our little slice of heaven and being that local guide for all things venue, vendor and travel related. If you’re still debating whether or not you need a Day-Of Coordinator (hint: you DO) - I have a few remaining dates open for late fall weddings!

Rachel & Fabian dialed up a perfect, sunshine day for their Sunday nuptials! They decided FOUR MONTHS AGO to dive in and have their wedding this year. We had a stellar vendor team for the FIRST WEDDING EVER in Skamania Lodge’s new Moonlight Pavilion. A truly gorgeous and unique space. Anxiously awaiting the p.h.o.t.o.s….
