I have been creating since I can remember. From the very beginning. In some way or form making or dreaming up something. In 2017 I opened Katelyn J Creates. I was a dance teacher selling appliqués to customers who had bases they wanted to decorate. I’d spend countless hours hunting them and cutting them up, shipping them off and watch what people would create. In 2020 I took a creative turn and rebranded as The Base Space. I decided I wanted to make the bases as well to create an even better shopping experience for my customers. Over the past few years I have sewn hundreds of unique bases that went on to be decorated and treasured. I can honestly say it completely changed my life. I will always love doing custom work but the dream just simply does not stop there. I want to say yes when others ask “Do you have another in my size?” Does it come in pink?” My creativity continued to grow and bloomed into Fleur. I am so excited to share this line with you. These clothes are vibrant, detailed, and comfortable. They are handmade to ignite passion, resilience and growth. Years in the making. Available to you, anytime. I cannot wait to start this next chapter and show you what I’ve created.
