Introducing the first annual Men’s Trail Festival! Aid stations will include challenges like fixing a wobbly table, chugging a pitcher of beer, lifting a car and changing a toilet paper roll.  There will also be a scavenger hunt in the woods to find keys, phone chargers, and socks. I can’t wait! Registration will open soon 😊

Trail marking is going up for the Snowy Owl 10 mile 🦉 It will be well marked but you WILL have to pay attention! It will be chilly on Sunday- especially near the water 🥶

Happy Cat Events is changing to Happy Cat Fitness!!
My mission is to promote: Consistency, Accountability and Fun! (if only this was an acronym that spelled CAT 😺)

As we move into 2025, I hope to expand on the fitness and wellness aspects of Happy Cat. I will still have hike/run events of course!

The Snowy Owl 10 mile is coming up on Sunday, January 5th at York River State Park in Williamsburg, VA. This is a trail race & the trails are a scenic mix of narrow winding single track (with roots, twists & turns) and fire roads. There are water views and some “fun” hills! This is a great challenge to start the new year 🤩

With a generous cut off of 4 hours, this race is open to runners and hikers alike.

The finish line will also feature a meet & greet with some rescued birds! We are running/hiking to benefit local wildlife rescue- great trails and a great cause! 🦉

Getting the swag together for the Snowy Owl 10 mile at York River State Park! Hats for all registrants, medals for finishers and scarves for age group winners. Long sleeved T-shirts can be added on and will be limited. The deadline to order a shirt is December 15th.
