Happy Trail Runners! We have a modest place in Big Island, VA (about 20 minutes from Bedford and 30 minutes from Lynchburg).  It’s right near Terrapin Mountain (see photos) and close to the Blue Ridge Parkway.  If you are considering a trip out to this area to do some hiking or trail running I’m happy to hook you up for reasonable price! We are not on Airbnb or VRBO, I am limiting it to folks who are friends of Happy Cat. We try and get out a lot but if you have a weekend in mind, send me a DM and we can chat about it!  It might be a “face only a mother could love”, not fancy at all, but to us it is a gem of a place with complete privacy and beautiful surroundings 🏔️

Night Owl 9k done! Sooo humid but folks smiled (kind of a grimace smile) through it all 😊 What a great running community! Thanks to the volunteers- could not do it without you. An amazing 11 PRs earned in tough conditions!
