The Snowy Owl 10 mile is coming up on Sunday, January 5th at York River State Park in Williamsburg, VA. This is a trail race & the trails are a scenic mix of narrow winding single track (with roots, twists & turns) and fire roads. There are water views and some “fun” hills! This is a great challenge to start the new year 🤩

With a generous cut off of 4 hours, this race is open to runners and hikers alike.

The finish line will also feature a meet & greet with some rescued birds! We are running/hiking to benefit local wildlife rescue- great trails and a great cause! 🦉

Getting the swag together for the Snowy Owl 10 mile at York River State Park! Hats for all registrants, medals for finishers and scarves for age group winners. Long sleeved T-shirts can be added on and will be limited. The deadline to order a shirt is December 15th.

NEW RACE ALERT! August 23, 2025
I am super excited about a TOTALLY new concept on this one. Same course as the previous Midnight Maniac 13 hour 🌙and same concept (with a twist) as the Alphabet Soup/Soupy 7 hour leftovers race. Please check it out! Let me know what you think about the new idea 😀

VOLUNTEER REQUEST!
Are you a night owl? Love seeing nice, thankful people push themselves to the limit while smiling? Come and spend some time with us at the Greensprings 24 Endurance race for The Arc!

Participants are running/walking a 2.2 mile loop on the Greensprings Interpretive Trail. Home base is Jamestown High School. They start at 8am Saturday, October 26, run all night and finish Sunday at 8am!

We are still looking for volunteers to help during the EARLY morning hours Sunday (midnight to 4am, 4-8am). If you are interested in helping, please email me at [email protected].

Come support a great cause and get inspired along the way!

Well folks, the T-shirt order goes in Wednesday, Oct. 9 (this week) for the Greensprings 24! If you are on the fence, please hop off and get registered 😺

This race is a great way to help an important cause https://www.thearcgw.org/ in our community and to challenge yourself 💪 Oh and there will be spooky decorations after dark, great snacks and hot food, plus some of the best people you will ever meet! You will not want the fun to end, lol...well maybe you will, but you will look back on it fondly I promise.
