It’s fair to say that Festival season has officially kicked off, and oh boy, do we have the ultimate line-up this long-weekend. After squeezing in a quick lunch for our mates at Ausdeck Patios & Roofing, this is where you’ll find us:

🍔We’ll be bopping and burger-slinging from today until Sunday in our at Caloundra Music Festival . Come along and enjoy the world-class music, food and arts the Sunshine Coast is famous for.

🍔Gold Coast you don’t miss out either, we’ll be supplying the finest burgers from our OG truck, on Saturday & again on Sunday, while you get down to reggae and R&B at Promiseland Music Festival at Doug Jenning’s Park.

🍔Sunday, truck no. 2 we’ll be at home in The River City with 30,000 of our closest friends for Listen Out at Brisbane Showgrounds . Think: fan faves and new artists you’re yet to fall in love with.

We’re pumped to party from coast to coast with you, so see ya on the d-floor! 🍔💃

📣Warning: Extraordinarily Long Content 📣

So today peeps, rather than telling you all how amazingly headspinningly awesome our weekend was at the we’d like to tell you about our very extraordinary and unexpected random act of kindness that we happened to receive yesterday 🥰

So as the story goes, we bumped in on Friday to the Air Show only to get our bus bogged on soggy ground as we were attempting to get it into place. So there she remained for the weekend 🚌✈️

A lovely couple named Steve and Erin and their 3 gorgeous kiddies that had come to eat at our burger bus each night at a few weeks back happened to be at the Air Show on Saturday.

We got talking about the bus being stuck, and they mentioned they were travelling in a big off-road truck that they might be able to tow us out with that afternoon once the Show had wrapped up for the day. We were told that they couldn’t bring their vehicle onsite, and were assured that there would be someone that would be able to get us out at the end of the Show on Sunday so we got these lovely people’s phone number just in case.
So off they went on their merry way and we went back to pumping out burgers until the event closed.  We sat and waited for several hours in the dark for someone to come and help get us out but nobody arrived. We reached out to these lovely folk with the big truck to see if they were still in the vicinity but they had moved on. However they told us they were happy to drive 2 hrs back the next morning to tow us out.  And they did. Complete strangers offering up their time and their vehicle to help other complete strangers. Heartwarming stuff!  Thank you Steve and Erin. ❤️ 🚌💕

So the may have postponed because of this damp weather until next weekend, but we are all systems go for this evening at for Bonfire Night, burning rain hail or shine. Rides for the kiddies, fire twirlers, s’mores and even mulled wine for mum & dad. So bring your poncho, grab a burger and come and support one of Brisbane’s most iconic outdoor event venues 🍔🤌

That moment when you realise you can get a bloody good burg in Brisbane all this weekend! HELL YES 🎉🍔🙌

Tonight we’ll be at Jindalee State school from 5-8pm for their school disco. Kids get to rock their socks off while their folks get to enjoy a burger and a beer at the bar 🍔🍻

Next up tomorrow Gigs & Picnics is on with a new venue at Queens Park, cnr Elizabeth and George St in the city (just next to the Casino). We’ll be there from 12-4pm soaking up the winter sun ☀️ and the tunes.

Then on Sunday, start your engines! We’ll be firing up the burgs at the RACQ Motor Fest at from 10am til 4pm.

With three chances to get your burger-on this weekend, there’s no excuse to get out and about! 🍔🙌

This weekend is brought to you by the letter B*. (Note that some events may be B for bloody weather affected 🌧🌈🌞)

B for which is going ahead rain, hail or shine. We’ll be set up from 10am today till Sunday with BOTH our and , catering to your every burger whim. The bus will be parked ocean-side so pull up a perch, enjoy the view (and the shelter) while chilling to some tunes and chowing down on a B-burger.

B is also for Botanica at the Botanic Gardens in , where we’ll be stationed for the next couple of weekends and alternate weeknights. (BOO-YAH!) do yourself a favour and get along to this free event, showcasing Australia’s leading contemporary artists and designers, all from outside in the beautiful lit-up gardens 🍔

Sadly Gigs and Picnics scheduled for tomorrow has been cancelled but you’ll see us back for this event next month.

YASSS! This long weekend is gearing up to be red hot - in more ways than one! 🔥🍔

Today we’re be heading up to in our for the Red Hot Summer Tour. With classic 80s & 90s rock bands like Hunters and Collectors, James Reyne and Killing Heidi - we can’t wait!

And tomorrow one of our favourite events of the year returns to Fortitude Valley, The Big Gay Day. Sooo much fun to be had with drag performances, some of the best food trucks in Brissy (hello, hi, how are you 👋) and plenty of shenanigans, be sure to climb aboard our to fuel up (and for a birds eye view) before you hit the street party dance floor outside Hotel. 💃🕺🏼🌈

With a mammoth kitchen rebuild underway following the floods, the Creek’s bars are now fully operational again so bring your mates and support this most cherished icon. And while you may not be able to chow down on one of their famous steaks, we will be parked up front and centre stage overlooking the green serving up our famous burgers 🍔❤️

While we were able to shed tears of relief many around us have not been so lucky. Sending our thoughts and prayers to those who’ve been affected by these insane floods.

Two of our trucks went under. But they are salvageable 🤞 The stock and electrical equipment that we have lost is nothing compared to many others so we consider ourselves very fortunate. We are confident that the trucks can be fixed in the coming days and back on the road for this weekend’s events.

Sad face - unsurprisingly all of our public and even private events this weekend including Eats and Beats - Kingston Butter Factory
and the Brisbane Beer Festival at Eatons Hill Hotel have been postponed because of this damn rain!

Enough already!!

On to sunnier thoughts, our next grand appearance in the bus will be at the very epic This That at Sandstone Point Hotel next Saturday, 5th March.

With three massive stages, 12,000 music-loving folk and artists like LUUDE , MEG MAC and The Presets , just the thought of it (and these burgs!) is enough to get us over these wet weather blues. 🕺🏼
