One of our DJ's in Rocket Entertainment just got this glowing review from last weekends bride. As a DJ, I think it's easy to fall into so many traps.

Who has the best gear and set up? Who knows more about sound, music or equipment? Comparing yourself to other djs. Getting burn out or that jaded feeling. Focusing on everything but your own self development, and client.

Reviews like this one should help remind us that no matter what, our clients deserve our best. The things that stand out to me is DJ Jawss' ability to listen to our clients needs, be flexible and adapt to all of the intricacies of a wedding day, and that he has a blast doing this. In turn, our clients can have the best day ever. When they look back on their wedding, they get warm feelings about working with their vendors and not that icky feeling about a stubborn DJ (or a number of other potential issues that happened that day).

No matter what wedding industry you're in, a goal that we should all have is to be the easiest and most fun vendor they had that day.

Flexible. Good listener. Fun.
Those are three great attributes to have.

Another 5 event weekend. 4 Corporate Holiday parties and 1 wedding (graphic attached). And with that, 2021 is in the books for us. We started out the year with two DJ's and a goal of doing 25 weddings, parties and events for the year, but YOU had something different in mind! We are proud to have our 4 client focused, premiere DJ's on board with us and having completed almost 100 special events this year! Most of those are weddings.

We've done weddings from Tuscaloosa, Birmingham, Huntsville, Florence, Nashville, Fort Payne, Mississippi and everything in between. We want to say a BIG thank you to all of our clients and vendors who have trusted us this year. We are nothing without you.

Our projection for 2022 is looking good. At the moment, we have about triple the bookings for next year, that we had this time last year! Now, we move into the off season for some much needed rest, practice and training, fixing a few things, and upgrading and buying new equipment.

I'm looking for someone that is tech savvy, energetic, efficient and professional; and also eager to learn and support my two companies. One is an internet marketing firm and the other is my dj'ing company. I am no longer full time with these so I'm looking to help someone grow into more of a leadership role here eventually. This will start on an "AS NEEDED" basis and COULD progress into part-time and full-time employment down the road if we are a good fit together and as revenue increases. LET'S GROW TOGETHER.

Some of the tasks and needs might include:
-Handling incoming phones and directing those as needed
-Handling sales leads (incoming)
-Inputting necessary client information and communication into the proper company CRM's and project tools
-Communicating clearly and professional between our team and the client. Helping to manage expectations with customers.
-Manage of our company and our clients social media accounts (posts, graphics, etc.)
-Help make sure we are meeting timely production times and response times to customers.
-Assist me when needed on various tasks

This will be AS NEEDED at first as I get to know you and your strengths. I need someone I can rely on as we grow together. I will teach you everything one by one exactly how I want it done. Hourly pay as contract labor. Would be a great job to learn a few different skill sets and be a great job to be on your resume for down the road or to grow into a bigger role with my companies.
