Today was PAC media day and our very own technical director, Aaron Taylor stepped in for Bart this month. Aaron is directing our upcoming PAC ProAm musical, Mary Poppins. He was joined by our two PAC spotlights Caleb Pless (Bert) and Tommy Ingram (Michael Banks). You can catch Tommy and Caleb this September in Mary Poppins. The Mary Poppins' set arrived this Monday, though it took a lot of hard work we were able to have the house ready for rehearsal Thursday night. We can't wait for you to see the set once everything is spit spot!
The best way to lead is by example, so about a month ago, I walked the talk and attended The Bunbury Theatre Company season auditions. My first audition outside of The PAC in over 15 years! I dusted off my one-minute monologue, drove to Louisville, and gave it my best shot. Something must've clicked because I got cast in their season opener! I'll play De Blanke Hans, aka The North Sea, in "The Ferryman's Daughter" by Karen Marguerite Moloney, running from September 6 to 22, 2024. If you can, come check it out – it's going to be really interesting.
Big shout-out to Allison and the PAC staff! Without their encouragement and keeping my life and everything at PAC running smoothly, I wouldn't have been able to take this opportunity. Thanks for the support, you guys!

Tonight at The PAC Allegro Dance Theatre held their Musical Theatre Camp recital with performances of American Pop Forever and Disney's Razzle Dazzle.
Join us this Saturday at The PAC for our Page to Stage Audition Workshops. This workshop will focus on vocal projection, cold reading skills, and general confidence in any audition situation. These workshops are conducted by Kentucky Shakespeare.

This week Center Stage Dance Studio held their Spring Recitals. The students performed ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, modern, musical theatre, pointe and contemporary. These performances also paid tribute to the late Ms. Yvonne Groves who taught many generations of families at Center Stage Dance Studio. She will be greatly missed.
Allegro Dance Theatre held their Spring Recitals this weekend at The PAC. They performed Shrek Jr., Everybody Dance!, Paquita, and Kaleidoscope - the Beauty of Ballet.
