With only 10 days til the event, it’s time to start talking about how to PACK!

Here are a few packing & traveling tips:

✨ Pack light. Remember, you’re walking from a designated meeting location to a secret location.

✨ Dollies are highly recommended. Wagons are great too. Please remember all aisles need to remain clear at the secret location.

✨ As real dinnerware is a requirement, make sure to secure those items in a separate tote. We don’t want anything to break!

✨ Lightweight folding chairs and tables are the best way to go. Ikea has the perfect white chair and Coleman makes a great table. (Ignore if your table and chairs are included in your ticket).

✨ Remember to pack a trash bag, ice/ice bucket, wine opener, water, bug spray, and sunscreen.

✨ Grab a clear or white umbrella or poncho to have just in case.

You may be wondering why we decided to bring Le Dîner en Blanc to Rhode Island.

The answer is simple: community.

There is something special that happens when a local community comes together for dinner. It is really hard explain it, but we can say it is beautiful ✨

Rhode Island has the most gorgeous backdrops - from the cosmopolitan setting of Providence to the water views of Narragansett and everything in between!

Hosting the inaugural event Providence, the state’s capital, just seemed fitting.

Did you know we have two ticket options for our Providence event?

✨ We have our traditional ticket (Pedestrian). With this option, you bring your own table, chairs, linen, table setting and decor.

✨ The other ticket option includes your table, chair and linen (Pedestrian with Table and Chairs). You will still need to bring your table setting and decor. This is great for a first time attendee or someone traveling from out of town.

BONUS OPTION: We also have a group rate for 6 or more guests, which includes your full table setup and bottles of sparkling wine. Email [email protected] or go to the 🔗 in our bio to learn more about our group rate.

For ticket options, you can choose between bringing your own table and chairs (Pedestrian) or you can choose to rent your table and chairs through us (Pedestrian with Tables and Chairs).

Remember, if you are looking to sit with a friend, make sure to choose the same Group Leader and Table Leader as your friends. We cannot change seating assignments.

When it comes to food, we love the creativity that guests put into their meals. Your meal can be as elegant as you would like, or it can be a simple tasty meal. However you choose to picnic, we are here for it 🧺

For those looking for something easy and delicious our catering partner has several course meals and desserts available in our e-store that you can easily pick up onsite at the dinner.

Pro Tips:

✨ If you are dining with a group, potluck style is always a great idea. Have each person be responsible for a dish

✨ Charcuterie and cheese boards are good starters. You can also graze on them before the napkin wave.

✨ Salads for the next course are the way to go. Think caprese, pasta salads.

✨ Finger sandwiches and fried chicken have been a hit for the entrees. It’s always good to store items in a cooler or warming bag.
