Once you understand the complexities of Indian Classical Music, it transforms from simply beautiful to mind-blowing! While Western music is almost always in 4/4 or sometimes 3/4 time, Indian Classical Music can be in *any* time signature- 7, 15, 9- even fractions like 7 and 3/4!
Our Bhaitak on November 9 will break down this system of Taal and Laya- essentially cycle, rhythm, and tempo.
Eat dinner in a stunning backyard setting while attending a lecture and demonstration that will help you understand the complicated world of rhythm and cycles in Indian Classical Music.
