Tuesday morning we lost one of the brightest stars in the universe. Khate and I were together for 21 years. How do you summarize something like that? Yesterday I had no capacity to write anything, and anything I might write would emerge from fathomless desolation and heartbreak.
Khate meant a lot to so many people. She has touched many lives. She was such a beautiful person with boundless depths. A talented visual and sound artist. Khate and I worked on countless projects together. She helped me be a better version of myself.
I'm planning a gallery exhibit to remember her and to showcase her dynamic catalogue of visual works, in addition to being immersed in her innovative experimental sounds.
I'll keep you all posted.
