I have had the privilege of planning numerous weddings in Maine and New England and still get so excited every time I click with a couple, and we decide to work together!

1. Yes I am numbering them. I am a planner so organization it’s important to me.
2. I am Instagram challenged, and every post seems to take me at least 2 hours.
3. I am a deeply grateful person and choose to find something to be thankful for in every situation. Think present day Pollyanna!
4. My favorite movie is Anne of Green Gables.
5. I love everything mid century and especially love it when my couples want to infuse some mid century or vintage pieces into their design.
6. I am a bit sarcastic and laugh often.
7. I still get overly excited every single time someone likes my post or comments (so comment away, you’re giving me a boost today)!!!

My vision was Enchanted Modern Elegance. My inspiration was a set of emerald green mid century modern side chairs. I dreamt of emerald green floral plates, whimsical, enchanted flower arrangements and layered textures. The result was magical. I could not have down this without Emma and the rest of the amazing vendor team!

Wedding tip: Make sure you break in those wedding shoes a month before the wedding. If you have purchased new shoes, wear them around the house for 30 minutes to an hour each day so you can avoid blisters!

It is time I share a little about my lifelong love story. I am forever grateful to do life with this incredible man. We got married in 2001. Before digital cameras were used for photography. Before Facebook and Instagram. A time when we could not google “Wedding Planners.” My flowers we beautiful Lillie’s. My bridesmaids wore yellow. We had a beautiful ceremony with 200 of our friends and family. Our recessional song was “We Go Together” from Grease. I remember the look on his face when I started walking down the aisle: our first look. We wrote our own vows and spoke from the outpouring of the love in our hearts. We had an incredible reception with hours of eating, dancing, laughing, and memory making. We have been married longer than we were single, and I look forward to growing old with this incredible human. I want to help make your wedding day as memorable as mine was.
