People occasionally ask me how I got started in floral design. I took courses in college (and am a big fan of life-long learning) but actually worked for a floral designer, who also almost entirely focused on wedding floral design, as one of my first jobs. I am so inspired by the wedding industry and how it continues to evolve. When the peonies and phalaenopsis orchids almost look fake because they were so perfectly in bloom! 😭🤍 I was just chatting with @sweetjulydesign recently about why we love flowers so much - they have such a fleeting beauty.
