“Two parts house, one part tech, a slice of old skool and lashings of disco”

A recipe that has been cooking up dance floors from UK festivals like Glastonbury, Beatherder, and Forbidden Forest to Ibiza hotspots Eden, Es Paradis and BamBuKu.

Known as the ‘‘Pocket Rocket’ DJ and producer Sammy Dean delivers a high-energy pumping journey inspired by decades of passion, built from sweaty raves and her vinyl playing days.

Influenced by the 90s old skool, 80s pop and 70s disco, Sammy’s sets are a masterful blend of new-skool house and tech, filled with nostalgic nods to these iconic eras.

Ricky Isted has been at the forefront of the UK Classic House Music scene for almost 20 years now. Growing up on the outskirts of Manchester to the soundtrack of countless mixtapes by far too many DJ’s to mention from the legendary & now iconic Hacienda nightclub surely made its mark on him & provided the inspiration to start buying the records that would eventually shape his own distinctive sound as a DJ in years to come.

Fast forward a few years to 2006 & it was then that he got his big break after being talent spotted by DJ Paul Taylor, head honcho at the UK club classics event - Retro. Ricky made his Retro debut in December that year playing an Old School House set in front of 3,500 people at the mighty Club Tall Trees in Yarm & has never looked back since, going on to become a resident DJ for the brand notably the longest serving dance music event in the UK & key member of the Retro team, a role that has seen him plying his skills at some of the most famous house music institutions in the world such as Pacha Ibiza, Sankeys Manchester & Gatecrasher to name but a few & alongside some stellar names in the business including Roger Sanchez, Todd Terry, Danny Rampling, Judge Jules, Allister Whitehead, Jeremy Healy, Lovely Laura, Jocelyn Brown, Graeme Park & K Klass.

Ricky is also a resident DJ for the popular Manchester Adored brand with events bi-annually at Bowlers Exhibition Centre & regularly plays guest slots for other well known brands such as More Cake and Clockwork Orange.

More recently he has launched his own ‘Twisted Smile’ rave culture collective - a new clothing, art, music and events brand based in Manchester.

We’re looking forward to having Ricky join us for his Rework debut on Saturday 1st February.

Our second DJ making his Rework debut, we’d like to welcome Project D.

Project D aka Darren Cowgill is no stranger to the Northern music scene. A regular attendee at the famous Bowlers, Monroes and Wigan Pier. Having learnt to DJ on Vinyl in 1998 Darren played his first DJ set at Equinox in Nelson and DJ’d regularly alongside oldskool and Italian house legend DJ Sempie.

Darren’s creative mixing and accapella use have give him the ingredients to start producing which has seen him signed to Salford City Records.

He has featured alongside some of the biggest oldskool artists including Powerhouse, Pierre Feroldi, Rhythm Foundation, Void and Dream Frequency to name a few!

Darren has played for some of the biggest oldskool promoters and venues across the North of England and we can’t wait to see what Reworks he has in store for us on Saturday 1st Febuary for our first event of 2025.

Adam Guy has been around for over 25 years under different aliases and has dj’d across the globe from Miami to Ibiza and beyond and shared the decks many times with DJs such as SHM, Mark Knight, Roger Sanchez and Calvin Harris plus many many more.

Over the years Adam has held residencies and guested for Huge UK brands such as Hed Kandi, Ministry, Garlands, Venus, 2Risque & Fantazia and was resident at some of the biggest institutes such as Gatecrasher, es Paradis, El Divino, Space and is currently Resident
DJ for Kurt Muller fashion Shows.

His style is solid party house with a piano classics edge and will rock the dancefloor.

This year sees residencies for MANCHESTER ADORED, 90s Baby & BBDD, guest dj spots at Miami music conference, Barasti Dubai while also a 2024 signing to martin ikins record label know where records under LOST RHYTHMS.

We’re looking forward to welcoming Adam for his Rework debut on Saturday 1st Feb! 💣
